I’ve seen the Spanish Infantas carry the label’s bags, but I had yet to see Brit Royals carrying them. I doubt if the Duchess of Cambridge would carry this label anytime soon since she seems to favor Prada and Longchamp for casual days, and her trusted Anya Hindmarch minaudiere for more formal affairs.
Finally though, it took a younger British Royal, Princess Beatrice to carry a classic flap Chanel bag– a few days ago at the Royal Ascot.
Though I was not exactly a big fan of what she wore (I much preferred what Princess Eugenie wore), I approve of the bag. The size was just right for her, not overly casual, and is still considered quite appropriate and unobtrusive (again, applause for Princess Eugenie for choosing a minaudiere instead).
Chanel has penetrated the British Royal Family Bag Collection, finally 🙂
