Years ago, I remembered saying to myself that I’d never buy an Hermes Evelyne. Back then, I had only seen the Evelyne on the shoulders of Japanese and HK Chinese women. I had even wondered what would compel them to buy such a visually unexciting bag. Suffice to say, I ate those very words. Because I am, and will always be, an Hermes Evelyne loyalist. I will never see myself not owning an evelyne again after I have appreciated the convenience of her weight, capacity, and easy wearability.

I am definitely converted. The Evelyne also happens to be one of the more “affordable” Hermes bags (if you compare it to the lindy, kelly, birkin). So if you were still having second thoughts about owning an Evelyne, let me already attest that once you carry an Evelyne for travel, you will not regret your purchase decision.
So yes, go for an Hermes Evelyne! I highly recommend the 2GM size. The size seems to work best for me.
