Where will you be on Chinese New Year’s Eve?

Chinese New Year is on Valentine’s Day, February 14. If you haven’t decided where to go for Chinese New Year’s Eve yet, I might just have the perfect place for you to celebrate it!

Mandarin Oriental, Manila will be playing host to the celebration of the new Year of the Golden Tiger on February 13 at 10pm onwards! Adult tickets to the celebration are priced at Php 2,688 for adults, and Php 988 for kids. The purchase of these tickets will give you exclusive access to all the festivities *including fireworks display!!*, a seat at the midnight lauriat (which consists of Tin Hau’s exquisite specialties– a MUST!), as well as a copy of master geomancer Joseph Chau‘s  2010 Year of the Golden Tiger forecast (this book alone will cost Php 398 at the Lobby Shop and Mandarin Deli, so the ticket is well worth its price!!).
For more information on Mandarin Oriental, Manila’s Chinese New Year activities, call the hotel directly at (+632) 750 8888 or email them at momnl-reservations@mohg.com. Details are also available on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MandarinOrientalManila

Oh and P.S. let me tell you now, Mandarin Oriental, Manila has one of the BEST tikoys or nian gow *New Year’s Cake* in the country (there are only 2 hotels whose tikoys I actually highly recommend– Mandarin Oriental is one of them, and the other is Shangrila Hotel, Makati). So if you’re a fan of tikoy, better place your order at Mandarin Oriental, Manila already. Priced only at Php 588 for the regular, and Php 688 for the special tikoy (with gold flakes!!)

For the past 3 years, I have not been fortunate in buying them as a walk-in customer (I’ve been given them that’s why I know they’re fantastic!!). So this year, I wised up by pre-ordering 😉

Are you already excited for what the new Year of the Golden Tiger will hold for you? 🙂 If you do have the time, do check out http://www.accessorylab.com or http://accessorylab.blogspot.com for this  coming year’s lucky color, lucky number, and good crystals which correspond to your animal sign 🙂
Go check out Accessory Lab for your crystals. It won’t hurt to know and to have them– for luck, for prosperity, and for good health 🙂
