When in Italia, Buy Italian!

After having a wonderful dinner with @Thons01, @Janekingsucheng, @Joannaladrido at Craft Pub & Grill at The Fort (formerly Prince of Jaipur) where @Erika_aquino and I shared a huuuge burger stuffed with monterey jack cheese and mushrooms
This gourmet burger is available at Craft at The Fort (formerly Prince of Jaipur, beside Amber)
*this burger by the way, is really worth writing home about– it is SO GOOD*, I watched Undercover Boss with DH before he went to sleep.  I ended up turning on my laptop afterwards because I was still so full from my 2nd dinner *shame on me for confessing here, but here goes– that burger you see up there? That’s my 2nd dinner. Before I left for Craft, I already had a full pasta dinner with my kids at home! *snorts like a wild hog hehehe*. The plan was to clean up the Photo Album. That was a plan that still remains a plan to this minute 😀 *Oye, it’s NOT easy to edit out photos!!*

During that extremely short period of editing out photos, I realized there are still so many images that remain unpublished (a LOT of food photos from my Italia trip– which I will definitely be sharing with you through my weekend posts). I want to take this opportunity to publish them here now.  It’s all about the Italian Brand and Italian Bags– and why you should buy Italian brand bags only when in Italy *oh mine’s a pretty painful “lesson” :)*

Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily: I had seen the bag in the past, admired it from afar, but was never inclined to own one until I personally handled the bag. This particular size was a tad too big for me (although it is honestly the ideal size, I am trying to “shrink” my bags now to make sure I don’t aggravate my bad back– I already have really poor posture as it is). I ended up with the smaller size of the Miss Sicily and I really, really love the bag (I have the leopard print ponyhair version). I cannot wait for the FW 2011- 2012 version. But for those who carry plenty of things, I can tell you that this is a beautiful bag to have!

Furla Candy Bag. I still want the all- clear one but they no longer had any of those available. This was the bag I thought about buying, but I decided to hold out for the all clear bag. This is undeniably the best bag to carry come rainy season. It’s a clear winner!

And then there was Prada.

Not too fond of the bags, but oooh I am liking the shoes below (looks very comfy):

Looks very, very comfortable!

Ahhh… Now, what would you do if you saw these… Yes, on the bag shelf for all to see at Hermes!

Jackpot!!
I know right? You’re thinking, wow The Bag Hag bagged a Hermes birkin! Let me burst that bubble and tell you that I didn’t bag the Kiwi 30cm epsom Birkin or that Mykonos blue clemence Kelly at Hermes. Those were the 2 bags that got away because the store was already closed when I got there, and when I left the next morning, the store was still closed. *Tough luck!!*
So yes, those are some of the bag memories I had of Italia– and I walked away with an important lesson: when in Italia, buy Italian bags! (Hehehe because I got disappointed thinking I’d be able to buy a French bag– see the ones that got away hahaha :D)
