Weekend Treats for the Bag Hag

My days have been rather glum in the last few weeks because of my persistent cough (my allergies) and because of the uneasiness in my throat (acid reflux).

But what a pleasant surprise when my dear AuntieN had some Pho Hoa treats sent over my way. She knows that I love Vietnamese food (I only like Pho Hoa by the way. Other Vietnamese noodle houses are inferior and sub-par), so to have these dishes ready for me when I got home for lunch yesterday? A real treat indeed! I didn’t even bother to have these transferred to our home plates. I was THAT hungry. 😀 I had the Pomelo Shrimp Salad, the Fresh Spring Rolls, then the famous Beef pho soup with tendon. This was such a light and hearty meal– perfect too for those who are going on a diet 😉

For details on where to find the Pho Hoa nearest you, please check www.phohoa.ph — you can call and order food for take out (and pickup)!! Nothing beats having super good hot noodle soup on a rainy day 🙂

A few hours after that, I got something in a pink Aranaz paperbag. It’s a bag with loot!
From Procter and Gamble, makers of the new Olay Regenerist!

I was just looking over my old bottles of Olay the other day and was thinking I should replenish my stock of Olay Total Effects already (I need some good anti-ageing serum to counter my lack of sleep or it’ll really start to show *if it isn’t showing on my face already!*). Thank goodness, the people behind Olay Regenerist seem to know when I need their products! This is such a great way to end an otherwise daunting week!

Olay Regenerist consists of a line of a globally recognized and multi- awarded anti- ageing beauty products. We’re talking non- clinical anti-ageing treatments here– imagine reducing fine lines and wrinkles, all within the comforts of your own home (bathroom even!). I’m so excited to use this line. Although of course this doesn’t mean I have carte blanche to sleep as late as I want 😀 Discipline is always needed– get enough sleep *sleep early*, use Olay Regenerist products regularly= fresh and younger looking skin 🙂 *No more dermatologist visits :D*

I was also given a box of Pantene hair serums to repair my damaged hair. (I swear, those peeps at P&G must have hidden microphones in my bathroom… how would they know I complain about my hair?!?! haha) I must find time to do this– after all, treatment only takes 3 minutes!

To the P&G peeps who obviously know what a baghag also needs, Thank you! I am definitely excited to try these products and as always, be impressed with results. 🙂 The packaging has already impressed me– to keep them in an Aranaz silver “fan” bag, topnotch decision! *A sign of great things to come!*

And lastly, another treat came my way (it rained treats this weekend for this baghag!). My dear friend Daphne Oseña Paez, as most of you already know, has gotten into the bed “fashion” business.

The chic and stylish host of Urban Zone and proud mother of two who has a clear eye for all things beautiful has collaborated with Linens Direct to come up with her own bed linen collection. The line consists of colors in calming earth tones like green with borders of white, tone-on-tone embroidery, and cream in a refreshing combination with white. Details are kept to a minimum, and the little embellishments act as delicate accents on an otherwise immaculate surface. It’s definitely very “Daphne“, who favors discreet elegance and timeless sophistication over things and pieces that are “over the top” and “too trendy”.

Daphne’s bed linen collection consists of one duvet, one fitted sheet, and 2 pillowcases. Her line will include understated floral prints in the future too– and I cannot wait for that! If you’d like to get a hold of the bed linen collection of Daphne Oseña Paez for Linens Direct, they’re available now at Our Home stores in Virra Mall, SM Megamall, SM Southmall, SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, SM Fairview, SM Bacoor, and SM Cebu. Time to get them now– they also make great gifts!!

HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE 🙂 Hope you’re all having a good one like I am 🙂

x,
Mrs.T
