I’m seriously obsessed with Madonna’s new song, Masterpiece, from the Soundtrack of W.E.
I have seen the movie W.E. (Wallis and Edward) thrice already on the plane. And though it’s not exactly the best movie (it tanked at the box office), I still found the story of the former King and Mrs. Simpson just so beautiful (yes yes she was married at the time, but let’s not ruin the “moment” :D). Even if I’m quite certain that it was not the perfect love story (as I’m sure they fought a lot too), the mere thought that Edward had abdicated for his lady love was great enough a story to be told.
It is still a very romantic story (without knowing what’s the actual “behind the love story” story).
