Versace for H&M : The Bag

I keep staring at the Versace x H&M bag and can’t help but feel that this was really such a bargain.

Very strong prints on this bag!

 We’re talking full-on Versace print on the bag here, and those bags from Versace can get really expensive. I have said to some friends a few days ago that I will probably not carry the bag too often because I wanted the bag more as a souvenir (I know, so wasteful to have made a purchase if there was no intention of using it), but the more I stare at it, the more I see myself using it.

I didn’t give this printed bag a second thought as I made the purchase. The black version of the same bag would’ve been more practical if you really want value for money (because of frequent use),

but Versace is all about the prints! I’ve known the brand since the early 90s and it has always been about the prints. My mom has a Versace bag with medusa print which she purchased back in the 90s, and it has a fairly similar print (I’ll ask to borrow her bag and take a photo of it when I can). I bet she’d flip if I show her this bag and tell her the price 🙂 *Mom doesn’t know about these designer collaborations with high street brands, by the way LOL*

Back at the H&M store, there were smaller bags available as well but I didn’t bother with them because they were more expensive per centimeter. Haha yes, time to calculate bag prices based on their size 😀

At the end of the day though, these Versace x H&M bags gives everyone a taste of the luxury brand at a fraction more than a fraction of the actual designer bag’s cost.

Sure, the H&M bags are no comparison to Versace bags quality- wise, but hey, price- wise,  I don’t think we can complain 🙂
