We went to visit my dad at the cemetery and this was what greeted us. 
There were uprooted trees everywhere. I thought I’d never see the day when trees get uprooted as a result of a strong typhoon. 
I still remember reading all about trees getting uprooted in the event of typhoon signal 3 back in primary school. I didn’t realize a typhoon so powerful could hit the city.
It was a pretty morbid sight 🙁 Anyway, I’m not gonna be seeing anyone til after the 10th. Have much to take care of in the household still, thanks to the storm! *pout*
Let me end this post with a more upbeat note. Why do we love Barneys? Is it because of their limited bag collection online? Nah. It’s because they have Goyard (speaking of the brand, if you are contemplating on getting a Goyard, better get it before October 31 before you reel further at its price! *hint hint*) and they have these nice bags (even if their selection is limited!).

At first glance, the bag does nothing for me. But the more I look at it, the more I realize that it was the utilitarian function and simplicity of design that made it so attractive. Priced at US$1,510.00
Rochas Pirite bag. 
This bag is SO simple, yet it somehow caught my attention. I’d love to touch this bag in person. The leather really got me curious. Ah well, for now, I can admire it from its photo 🙂 Priced at US$1,295.00
And after viewing the Barneys site, I am now convinced that I’d like to own a Goyard Jeanne GM– 
before the 31st of October! Why before October 31? I think Goyard is doing a Hermes and a Louis Vuitton… Go figure what that means, hags 🙂
But before I make yet another purchase, I need to edit my bag closet ASAP! So stay tuned 😀

charisse: i think the jackie o is determined per collection by the “clasp”. in which case, yours had that lobster claw clasp. the succeeding ones were the piston clasp (barrel like), and there was the flat rectangular clasp with the square “button” that preceded it. hope that helps!

oh.. we have a Louis Vuitton World Store here.. hmm.. im not too sure what a world store is or if it’s called that but you should see it. it’s awesome. i’ll take some pictures if i can and i’ll send it. we have this whole strip on the Island of Guam where luxury are sold from left to right. and we have a huge free standing DFS Galleria with hella alot of stuff.. once when Regine and Pops were here, they were plugging guam to everyone because we have NO SALES TAX!!! hahahaha i’ll send it when i can… later!!!!
