Trick or Treating at Rockwell Power Plant Mall, 2009

November 1 was a day I spent at my Dad’s at the Cemetery. *Sigh* I really, really miss my Dad. 🙁

While I was at the Cemetery, my DKs and my DH participated in the Trick or Treat event of Rockwell Power Plant Mall. DKs were originally going to hang with us at the cemetery, but one of them has asthmatic cough+ skin allergies (which could be aggravated by heat too), so we decided against bringing both (or the one staying home will sulk and be very unhappy about being left behind haha). DH brought them (it’s DH’s first time to be with them for trick or treating too) to Rockwell instead for a little fun!
The October 31 Wizard’ s House of Wonders event was postponed to November 1 because of the strong typhoon the night before. The folks at Rockwell were being very responsible event organizers, as they don’t want anyone hurt or stranded in case the typhoon was still in Metro Manila. And so, Halloween was in full swing at Rockwell on All Saints’ Day 🙂 And Powerplant Mall was REALLY FULL!

(Photos taken by DH *woohoo special mention– see, I am not a credit grabber hahaha*) My DH said there were sooooo many kids in costumes! 🙂 That would’ve been a sight to see! DH didn’t take much photos, as he focused on taking photos of our kids hehehe (for the family album :D).

Accessory Lab was also giving away treats today 🙂  My wonderful biz partner Rodina, and I both have kids, so we want other kids to enjoy halloween loot from our store 🙂

So many kids went home happy. Hahaha not too much candy in one night, kiddies! My DKs actually get tonsillitis if they OD on candy hahahaha. So this mama has to ration the sweets (and take some for herself hahaha)  😉

And oh, oh important announcement to those interested in the FRIGHT NIGHT event of Rockwell Power Plant Mall.

FRIGHT NIGHT has been moved to NOVEMBER 13 (yes, Friday the 13th!!!! Talk about good timing!!!). Tickets are still available for this one. It’s going to be a real fun (Open bar at ICE CREAM BAR!!!!) and spooky night (movie)  🙂

Thanks to Mark, Ina, Tin, and Malou of Rockwell Power Plant Mall. My kids really enjoyed the mall trick-o-treat affair 🙂 Congratulations on its success!! 🙂
