Burma is known for gems– jade, ruby, and sapphire among others. Scots Market is a place to visit if you are interested in seeing some gems 🙂
Finished products– gems on rings (silver or gold).
Jade– semi- polished on one side, these stones allow buyer to see the jade’s color.
Loose stones– ruby, rubellite, spinel, sapphires, topaz… name it!
Now, if gems are not something you fancy, there are other things to get too. Like these marionettes

Wow! Going to Burma for the gems and foie gras brioche sandwich at RN74 in SF are mos def in my bucket list. Plus your trip to Bagan are every traveller’s dream.
