Travelog: The Magic of India

After nearly 8 hours of being inside a bus on the road from New Delhi to Jaipur (ohmagawd it took forever, really!!!), we arrived. A little drama happened on the bus about an hour before we arrived though– and this was shortly after I woke up. Anyway, I will write about that in another post because that merits its own post 🙂
Today I will just feature fantastic photos of Jaipur because I am way too excited to share them with you. These are just a little. I have sooo much more to share.
Our hotel pool.  “For Hotel Residents only” Haha. Well it seems the pigeons seem to be taking advantage of the pool more than actual residents 🙂

Our breakfast after that 8 hour drive (bumpy I might add– so bumpy that I felt I already left my ovaries somewhere in between Delhi and Jaipur hahaha)

The chef befriended our resident “chef”, Chef Stevie Villacin. And started bringing out a LOT of food for him hahaha. Guess who benefited? 🙂

After our breakfast, we went to the Amber Fort.  WOW. The sheer size of the place was enough to elicit oohs and aahs from everyone.

We had to take a small jeep through the narrow roads which led up to the Amber Fort

I love the colors!!!

More colors on an Indian woman. The colors are just so rich against the beautiful background that is India!

I can’t stop taking enough photos of these women!!

It has just been a few hours into our trip (well apart from that loooooooooong, almost daunting bus ride), but wow, the visual feast has not stopped at all.

Here’s a photo of Daphne and I 🙂

Inside the Amber Fort

More photos in my next post, so watch this blog 🙂

P.S. Thanks again CV Travel for having organized this trip. We are just so glad we went to this!!! 🙂
