This is the Giovannini Pasticceria along the main street of Montecatini (more on Montecatini tomorrow, including the introduction :D).
Graziano Giovannini is responsible for all those large eggs you see on the vitrines.
And here are the amazing *and BIG* Easter Eggs up close. The theme– Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs!
Look at the detail!! |
I wonder how much these big eggs cost? 🙂 How to take them home? Hahaha *Fedex?* |
Here are the 7 dwarfs! Individual eggs 🙂 |
This particular egg is unbelievably detailed. I was staring at this for a good 5 minutes. Just in awe!
And then there were the more “commercial” eggs for sale 🙂
Not cheap! But definitely cute! Can I not eat this when I buy it? 🙂 |
If you are not into these cute Easter eggs, there are other pastries and sweets you can buy– like these!
Ugh so tempting!!! I wonder how much walking I will do on this trip– because it looks like I have just thrown my diet out the window… for an indefinite period of time. I mean, how oh how can you resist sweets like these at Giovannini Pasticceria? *drools*
More on the town of Montecatini tomorrow, including some of the bags I saw being sold in these quaint little boutiques! *woohoo* 🙂
