Sigh. So I went through something stressful yesterday. But as promised, today I will continue to talk about my travels. 🙂
We traveled south to Geneva. The weather in Geneva was wonderful. Snow still visible on the mountain peaks, 
but all is clear from where we are. It was nice and cool. Not freezing.
We stayed at the beautiful Hotel de la Paix. 
The room was large–
I slept real well here too because of the very comfortable bed and the pillows and the sheets… hahaha I wish I can bring the bed and sheets and all that back home with me.Very modern. We had a beautiful view of Lake Geneva.
After we checked in and cleaned up (looooong drive from Beaune), DB and I took a walk.

Hi Mrs. T, I’m a big fan of your blog. Speaking of Geneva, I don’t recall reading much about watches in your blog. I’m kind of a watch lover myself and was wondering what brands you usually go for and what you look for in a watch. Aside from nice bags, I think classic timepieces are also a great investment. More power to you!

Anon: “Watch” person– I’m actually not so into watches (I hope I never get into them hahaha or that’s the serious end of my finances). But if you must ask what I really, really am lusting for, it’s the Breguet Reine de Naples with the “crazy” numerals on the face. It’s so beautiful. And unfortunately waaaaaayyyyyy over my budget. Unless I can find a preowned one for a quarter of the retail price 😉
Oh and watch lover, my husband is a watch lover and he says that Patek Philippe is on top of his list. Hope that helps 🙂 *He lusts for a junior sized tourbillon but i dont think there is one ever made 😀 oh and note that even if there is one, he says he also can’t afford it unless he wins the lottery :D*
I hope you are well now and dont ever let issues that dont impact your life in a positive way ever affect you. You have too much of a happy outlook on life to be affected.
