Travelog Day 5: Mrs.T meets LPT :) The baghags paint the city :)

I finally met LPT yesterday!! Baghag royale galore!! 😀 *snicker*

So today I woke up real late. Was supposed to go meet up with LPT by 1pm but I woke up at noon! SHEESH!! (Back to my old habits I suppose haha).

Yesterday DM and I drove to SF to meet LPT and her DH 🙂 They are such a wonderfully sweet couple! Her DH is soooooo nice 🙂 LPT herself is wayyy too cool– I’m really, truly blessed to have met them both.

Anyway what did the baghags do? SHOP (pssst, WINDOW shop)! Without further ado, here are the photos 😀

We went to Neiman Marcus to check out the bag selections of Fendi. There are Fendi Spy bags there (and a few seasons back they were sold out, sold sold sold!)

By the way, Neiman has changed their “floor” once again. Everything got rearranged! Here are the Chloe bags. I’m liking that Edith bag a lot, but not enough to warrant a purchase. Hehe. And they also have those bugatti shaped Edith bags by the way, which are just HUGE!

We also saw a YSL Muse bag in alligator skin for a cool US$12,000 *shock*. It was not really that great a bag, to be honest. (that and I can’t really find money to even pay for half that price for it hahaha).

Then there was Chanel. Drat, I could’ve taken a better photo (for my baghag friend MS!), but there were cameras within that boutique, and within seconds of us popping in, a sales associate appears. (Blah. My Neiman SA has retired hahaha. My other SA was not there– her off day 🙁 )

Miumiu bag that I was liking, was also there. Hmm… It is rather nice, but I don’t know… Am I not in a mood to buy? *Cough, I have yet to exercise my purchasing rights today*

There was also the Jimmy Choo Ramona bag, which made me realize, I really do not like the bag *no offense to the fans of the Ramona there*. It was just not working for me.

We left Neiman empty handed and headed straight to the House of Sin.. I mean, House of Hermes. 😀 What did we go there for? To ogle at the US$148,000 black crocodile 35cm birkin with (supposedly) 11 carats worth of diamonds on the hardware!!!! Holy cow, the bag is roughly the same price as a new Mercedes S class!!! We had the SA take the bag out for us. DM was soooo funny. She goes “Are these Swarovski studded?” to which the SA said “oh NoOooOOoOoO… these are Diiiiiamonds!!” We guffawed at DM’s innocence… and DM goes “Whaaaaat?? US$148,000?????” 😀 Yup, damn bag is more expensive than my house AND car *muwahahaha*

It was beautiful, but the bag was just too highly priced. And I think I can vouch for everyone here when I say, that even if we all did have that much money, we still wouldn’t get the bag. But oh boy oh boy think of all the bling we could buy with THAT kinda money!! That’s like, a LOT of Hermes watches with diamonds right there for that kinda money!
Ok anyway hags, I have to cut this post short because I am really late. I have to meet LPT and her DH in the city today. We are heading off to the Rodeo Drive of San Francisco today 🙂 More updates when I come back home tonight!! We went to Goyard after Hermes by the way, and that was where we stayed the longest 😀 *Heck, my credit card didn’t go through with my purchase there! Ugh. So I had to make the call to the Philippines to my card company to inform them that I was the one using the card. So inconvenient!! :(*
