Travelog: At the Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon Myanmar

Early morning start in Yangon today as the weather was not going to be too kind to visitors in the afternoon– yes, rain. (But oh, rain is equated with abundance by the way :D)
We visited the beautiful Shwedagon Pagoda today. I need to pack for our flight tomorrow to another city, Bagan so I hope it’s alright with you that I let my photos do the narrating for now 🙂

A child monk passes by…

On one of the walls

Buddhas

A monk in contemplation

In prayer…

Intricate teak

Flower offerings for the Buddhas

No these brooms are not displaced. They were found within the pagoda walls. Colorful, right? 🙂

And the bigger picture…

More photos from Yangoon tomorrow! Stay tuned 🙂
