Thebaghag does Lunch + some Lust-for bags!

I hardly ever get the chance to actually sit down and have lunch with peeps because 1. I skip lunch (I’d rather sleep) 2. I now have to play shopgirl. But today I simply had to excuse myself and do myself the favor of having lunch with a few fashionable ladies 😀 I felt like the handmaiden of these ladies because while they were dressed to the nines, I was just plain dowdy- looking *hehe it’s ok, I know I am pretty dowdy*.

And without further ado, I must introduce you to their bags:

Chanel distressed white patent leather longue classique (ok I’m baptizing this bag… coz I don’t remember the actual name!)But this bag is really beautiful!!! I love it, I love it!! (it’s no longer available at boutiques too!)

Chanel’s latest chalk colored rock and chain bag. The bag’s main feature is the three-strand signature chain and leather strap.

Marni Balloon bag. (I’ve never seen the bag in person before, and now that I have, I love it!!) Of course I was every inch an idiot when I asked the baghag what brand her bag was *smacks head*. The bag looks larger in person than in photos, and is truly eye catching 😀

And this beautiful rich ___ green bag… Ok, here’s trivia for you baghags– what brand is this beautiful baby? 🙂 *Hint, designer brand contains two words, but the first word is dropped out :D* Give me a good guess, peeps!

Anyway, I had a very enriching time with these ladies. I felt like a greenhorn in this bag-loving community, but again I am always grateful that other baghags are more than willing to help me identify the latest bags and the hottest ones! *To the baghags who are so generous with their info, thank you thank you!*

Oh and a few days ago, there was a pretty lady who came in with this beautiful gold Chanel. It turns out she had bought the gold bag from Hong Kong 🙂 The very same bag I had seen at Chanel! *Woohoo* And there I was, inches away from a beautiful bag and I didn’t buy it (coz I didn’t have any more moolah…) There were also some new styles which made me wonder, “Are these Chanel?” Bah, I guess some people will like it 😀 *I’m not one of them though*

Now here’s my spoil (or is it spoils?? Grammar dude/dame: help!) and this set me back quite a sum that a purse ban is already in effect once again 🙁 *pout*My Chanel Baby Coco Cabas in Bronze 🙂

Oh my oh my, wait, here’s another bag I found at neimanmarcus.com that is just making my heart swell up *I loooove this bagggggg*

Dior Samourai 1947 Woven Frame Bag. The fuchsia color looks more like “psychedelic purple” to me. And perhaps the color was the deciding factor for me, but look at the details more closely. Woven leather!! Holygeez mother of bag gawds!! The frame is made of tortoiseshell and there’s even a matching Louis XVI frame tag! The only downside really is the price. It’s pretty hefty– US$3,900!! But Oh my, this is bag art!!

P.S. Darcy of Chedar Clothing, THANK YOU for the beautiful top you sent me. I shall be wearing that with pride. The fit is great too!
