The philosophy of Bill Gates and what it does for us baghags :D

I got a text message from our friend ET (that KG and gals call “Lolo” or “gramps” haha) yesterday and it really hit me (as in, made me use my noggin… made me think! haha). Bill Gates (apparently) said, “I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they’ve ever dreamed of. So they can see that it’s NOT the answer. ” Hmm… apparently having everything really is not the answer *I’d take that answer from the richest man on earth*… but daaaaaaang, wouldn’t we all mind having all that?? Imagine, having the extra moolah to buy custom handpainted Goyards for everyday use:D *think disposable bags haha* Ok, ok, I know you’ll tell me to stop being so materialistic. I think it really goes to show that those who lack the moolah *aka me* have the tendency to be more materialistic than others (I know it sucks to sorta say that out loud, but it’s true). I mean if we are all swimming with money already (more importantly, swimming with Hermes birkins like this fantastic vert cru one), I don’t think we’d be harping about these annoying purse bans and all that. So there, Mr. Gates, I’m sure you can already say that it’s NOT the answer, but for us baghags who don’t really “have it all” (especially the baghags like me, who seem to be forever lost in some kind of financial black hole *mounting credit card debt, anyone? haha*), moolah is the answer to our bag addiction *pathehhhhhtic loserrrr!!!*. Ptooooey, Mrs.T, get a hold of yourself here *cough cough showing true colors… :)*

Oh hey, here. Wanna have something to chuckle about? Check out what I wore 😀 This outfit is sooo me. Thank you Ilaya Couture for thinking of making a “Meldy” top (Meldy= Imelda). Loving it! It’s so… “imeldific” haha. (Ilaya Couture is available at the Archaeology section of Rockwell Powerplant Mall… but hey, you are all savvy shoppers so you already know that :D)
Wait, so one of our comment posters wrote that Barneys.com‘s Lanvin Kansas tote is on sale *shrieks wildly*. Noooooo efffin’ way!! Could it be true? Thank you for alerting this baghag of the sale 🙂 It IS true!! The Lanvin Kansas in metallic leather was $2030 and is now on sale at US$1,199!! That is a steal steal steal!!! Oh how I wish I can afford that right now 🙁 I was actually hoping for the white to go on sale (maybe it did and the bag’s no longer there). I love this bag and I think those baghags who can spare some *cough* “change” should get the bag. It’s really a good buy, and hey, it’s metallic and you know what we feel about metallics this season *woohoo* 😀
