I wouldn’t normally mention local movie actors/ actresses on my blog because I don’t really follow local showbiz (unless there happens to be a local gossip rag lying around, and I’d pick it up for a light read), but I just couldn’t let this one pass.
There was an article in the Philippine Daily Inquirer about Sharon Cuneta the other day with an accompanying photo. I’m not intrigued or interested with the separation intrigues with her politico husband.
But oh boy, the photo that accompanied the article still haunts me today 🙂
Don’t you just love that birkin? It’s so in-your-face! A Hermes crocodile (porosus) birkin in the 35cm size costs well over Php 1.9M (US$40,000+) and the “Ate Shaowie” has one 😉
*Sigh*. Intrigues or no intrigues, isn’t it great to be the Megastar? 🙂

Oh Mrs T, you have to check out an article from The Phil Star yesterday about KC and Richard’s trip to Europe. KC has Birkin luggage, and there is a picture to prove it!

btw, do you know what hermes establishments stock the most goods back (US) east? i’ve recently been to the hermes in madison ave. and the one in manhasset a month or two back and to no avail, no birkens (or kelly’s) in stock… hooy i’m not looking to buy but wanted to see these beauties in person; i’ve always been a baghag, but have yet to acquire a taste for these babies. just wanted to see them in person and see what’s the big idea 😉

In regards to the photog, I heard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from him again- no email, no text message, nothing. My last text message to him yielded NO reply whatsoever. Yes, I sent out the last text.
If he refuses to air his side of the story via a written letter *emailed to me so nothing gets taken out of context* (which I have egged him to do while I was sick and wasting away in bed, might I add), I am not about to waste any more energy (and Php 1 text messages *yeah I’m a cheapo haha*) to convince him to do so. I’ve given him enough time already. I know for a fact I cannot be faulted, especially having exhaustively tried to reach out to him for his complete side of the incident.
Besides, the million dollar question at the end of the day remains– ruined reputation (because of the incident) or not, is this photographer even good enough to bag editorial jobs for major fashion glossies and broadsheets? It’s not easy to get into that A- list roster of fashion photographers that are on the speed dials of major fashion editors. There are just so many talented ones out there with fantastic portfolios– can easily name 10 good ones I’ve worked with and recommended to other editors in the past, and they’re all so easy to work with too. 🙂
So this guy’s career in fashion (and the more lucrative commercial) photography remains to be seen. Best of luck to him. Who knows, with enough tenacity he might just become famous. I hope though that he can be humble should he become famous for his work one day. As most of us already know, pride can kill fame. But humility can extend it 🙂
Anyway peeps, there are better things to talk about now than to resurrect a past incident which yielded no fruitful conclusion. So Mr. Photog’s incident is officially a dead issue buried 6 feet under after this reply.
Let’s just talk bags now, shall we?
