The Long Weekend Ahead

I am still burping from all the food I ate tonight. I was invited to our Euro group mate Jules’ birthday dinner at her house, where we all feasted on arugula salad with portobello mushrooms, thyme and rosemary chicken, steak with mushroom gravy, roasted vegetables, and of course, limoncello- laced ice cream. Sorry peeps, this baghag was too hungry to take photos tonight. I only realized I should’ve taken photos after I’ve finished everything. Pfffft. (Shoutout: Happy Birthday, Jules!!!)

Anyway, I am off to Singapore tomorrow with my DH and kids for the long weekend– with my Kamiseta luggage in tow 😀 Woohoo!! I get to use my luggage before my friend does hahaha 😉 *beams*

I hope you peeps get to enjoy your long weekend while I enjoy my Hainanese Chicken in the Lion City 😉 *muwahaha braggart!!*(photo credit: Newasiancuisine.wordpress.com)

I’ll be on a brief blogging holiday– this is actually a spur of the moment decision to travel, but it will hopefully be that holiday that I have been grossly needing to get my work “mojo” back :D. I have a pending article to write and I haven’t really gotten those creative juices flowing– at least not enough yet to churn out a good piece 🙂 This trip just might do the trick!! And it’s bonding time with the DKs! 🙂 *I sorely need this since I’ve been too busy with work lately to hang out with them 🙁 *

Back to regular programming on Monday night. Promise to take photos while I’m there! 😉 *we’re talking food (hopefully DKs won’t be asking for KFC all the time hahaha), and also of course, bags!!!*

Pledge Acknowledgments Time! I’d like to thank these generous peeps for donating to our growing Fabella fund today 🙂

NH: Php 5,000
DJ: Php 20,000

Total donations + bag proceeds to date: Php 506,000
*Yay, we’ve reached the Php 500,000 mark!!!*

  3. hi mrs.t! Took me so much courage to ask to have a photo with you but I am glad to have done so or I will regret not asking! It was so nice to meet you in person! Thank you for being so nice to me 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your stay in Singapore!

  4. Hello Mrs T! Please give feedback on durability of the the Kamiseta luggage. Did you get the big luggage itself or just the cosmetic kit? I have been wanting to get but I’m worried if it would stand the test of being thrown in the plane! We know how it is in the airport!
    Thanks so much!

  5. @eve-eve: Thanky 🙂

    @veeq: thanks for the tip 🙂 I was good on this trip. Seriously 🙂 *And you’ll find out soon enough hehe*

    @Aina: Thanks dear 🙂

    @Livia: I’ll go back there again one day– it was so hard to take the kids around for “food tripping” because they weren’t very cooperative.. Hahaha complained how their feet hurt all the time hahaha.

    @Ai Mei: Heya! I’m glad you also came up to me 🙂 It was real sweet of you to do so– and I hope I didn’t disappoint haha. 🙂 Had a great time in Singapore and next time I’ll definitely get in touch with you for coffee or tea 🙂

    @Amanda: Review of the luggage is in my next post 🙂 I’m sure your daughters will have a blast wheeling that candy colored luggage around 😉
