The Great Sunday Workout + the “Diet”

Today, pat me on the back, please. After my one- week commitment of practicing bikram yoga (ok, I ended up just practicing for 4 times, as opposed to the original 7 times), I have just committed myself to more bikram for the next 6 months. Call this my little present *haha torturous* to my turning 35- year old body. *Oh Gawd, I can’t believe I am turning 35 in 11 days!!!!*
So yes, I have a new commitment which I pray, will last. Hahaha. I have 6 months to complete 30 classes of yoga. That shouldn’t be so hard right?*gulp*. Anyway, the last week had been fantastic, I really felt the results on my body– I felt less flabs. So I hope those stubborn fats have somehow melted away 🙂
For the last week, I had also committed myself to eating light for dinner and a little heavier for lunch.
The 2 nights I didn’t do yoga were spent inside a movie theater (SATC 2 x Mercedes Benz) and with my family as my eldest niece celebrated her 9th birthday at Enderun *sob, I can’t believe my little niece is now a lady!!*.
At Enderun, I had the caesar’s salad (so sinful but I had to eat this *hahaha like I was being forced… right! hahaha). Had to mix them all together to get the whole salad to “come together” and taste delish!

Angus beef.  Quite lean and VERY good! Perfectly done. Medium.

The rest of the week, I had the less fattening salads. Right. The dressings are probably the killers here 😀 But oh heck, let’s live a little!!

Wakame Salad from Shinjuku (Simply the BEST!!!) and a side of Miso Soup 🙂

And then my new discovery, the Kaiware Kani Salad from UCC.
I looooove radish sprouts. I believe they’re called Daikon in Japanese (someone correct me if I’m wrong please). I had this with sesame dressing *gulp*
So there, that’s my “diet” for the week. I will be going back to yoga again tomorrow night, hopefully I will continue to be inspired for the next 6 months if I’m in town. We gotta get that body together! Not so much for aesthetics, but also for the health! After all, thebaghag’s no longer a Spring Chicken 😉

Have a great Sunday, everyone! It’s date night with DH and I. Now 🙂

P.S. Hello to my new yogamates– MelSiyTan *who’s 8 months preggy!!! wooHoo!!*, TammyDavid, RiaCalderon, and DolorCortez 🙂 It was really nice to meet you girls! And I hope to see you again *if not, please egg me to do yoga… I can get a tad lazy :D* (pssst, my dear friend Patricia, if you are reading this, WE have to go back to bikram TOGETHER!!!)
