The Filipino Rises to the Occasion…

Congratulations are in order!!

While I’m not exactly called a sports fan (because I don’t do sports hahaha.. too lazy), I have to admit I am beaming with pride that Philippine boxer Manny Pacquiao scored yet another win for the Philippines, cementing his reputation as “the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter”.
I didn’t watch the Pacquiao fight live (because I was still asleep hahaha… *oink oink*) but when I woke up, I caught a glimpse of Anjali’s interview of Pacquiao for Talk Asia. Then I “tuned in” to facebook and saw that the fight was over and everyone’s been leaving comments about Pacman’s win.

Today, more than any other day, I am so proud to be a Filipino! Congratulations “Pacman”! You practically pummeled Hatton nonstop to his defeat and did the whole country proud!

Now, if only I could have Manny’s “work-out” discipline 😀
