Oh boy. I feel sooo under the weather now. It all started from that overnight trip to Hong Kong. The temperature change was so drastic– from Manila’s 30 something degrees, to Hong Kong’s 8 degrees. And I wore a pretty thin jacket, thinking it wouldn’t be too cold anymore. I didn’t bother getting an extra coat to wear that day. After all, I was inside an office for half the day and didn’t think I’d get sick from the cold 🙁
Then the next day, flew back into Manila. It was terribly hot. Then I hung out at the Rockwell Urban Bazaar ingress where it was quite stuffy and hot. Profuse sweating ensued, but then the sweat subsequently dried up after I went back into the mall. Bad move.
Today, first day of the bazaar, it rains. Darnit. Mrs. T had no umbrella on her. So I decided to just run from the mall to the Rockwell Tent, thinking my hair was still wet from my bath this morning that it shouldn’t really matter. BIG mistake.
By mid- afternoon, I was really feeling “off”. I had that PMS-y feeling. Ugh. I tried so hard to brush it off. Thought it was one of those emotional spells that gets brought about by PMS. Wrong. Shortly after 7pm, my throat started to ache. And it hasn’t stopped ever since.
As I type this, I feel that nasty lump in my throat. I can’t believe it. I am officially sick. No fever though, just a nasty sore throat. Hopefully loads of that ginger candy I hoarded in Tokyo will do the trick in making me feel less sick tomorrow (or later today). But for now, DH requests that I turn off the computer and just go catch some Zzzzsss…
So I will do just that, but not without requesting something from you peeps. (Don’t worry I won’t ask you to buy me a new bag hahahaha) 😀

Im so sorry to hear your sick… get plenty of rest… try to avoid going in and out of A/C room. Stay in bed!! If you can drink freshly made Ginger Tea with Lemon and Honey that will help. Ginger candy has too much sugar!! as much as i love them, it’s fattening!!
