Surfshopping again for BAGS!

There’s nothing like spending an afternoon working *NOT*. I was awake til 3am last night, so this morning, I got up a few minutes before noon. What a lazy bum I am, eh ? 😀

Sorry about not having posted longer entries last week. Seriously it was pretty toxic. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I weren’t so bad with time management (but obviously I am).

So let me make up for that with this entry.

I miss surfshopping so this is one time I get to do it 🙂 Let’s get right to it, shall we?
Bluefly.com has designer bags that include Hermes! Now that shocked me out of my seat!

Hermes Potiron (pumpkin) orange Valparaiso in chevron patterned twill with a smooth leather flap over the top, with the hanles cut-out. There are also side snaps that cinches the bag and a central snap under the flap. This is a nice schlepping bag if you have a few hundred dollars to “throw” away 😀 I wouldn’t be getting another canvas bag from Hermes unless I have sold most of my other bags. But if you want a relatively painless entry into this “new” world (of Hermes), then this bag might very well be your 1st class ticket 🙂 Priced at US$945.

Sigh, why can’t bluefly carry Hermes birkins… More importantly, Hermes birkin in Brighten Blue (yes, that bag in the middle is what I would seriously starve for… forget the pink croc *ugh can I really forget?!*– that’s really something I’ll never be able to afford, with the way I spend *on food* hehehe… Plus let’s not forget, we have kiddies to feed and send to school! *muwahaha bad bad mom!!*). I am SOOOO in love with that color!! Save me, oh bag gods!! 😀

Emilio Pucci canvas top handle bag. If you are Little Miss Chipper Cheerio, then you need to have Pucci in your wardrobe. Over the week, DaphP and I went into Homme et Femme to check out their new stuff. I fell head over heels for a Pucci tunic, but the price was just so not agreeable at over Php 58K. I’d frankly be happier with a bag, seeing how unwilling I am to fork over my moolah for a shirt/ dress if I were to wear it only a handful of times. *Penny pinching baghag, WooHoo!* But hey, for US$380, I’d give in to this cute signature psychedelic Pucci print bag. Too cute to decline that offer!

Forzieri.com has this cute belted Buti bag. It’s pretty unique for US$315. The bag is not too big, but again it’s good to edit, edit, edit. Or else we will be carrying sackfuls of our junk everywhere we go. And that ain’t a good thing. I really like the look of this bag. At least this bag has a “waist”. Too bad I can’t say the same for myself 😀

Brownsfashion.com showcased this green Bottega Veneta intrecciato leather weave cabas tote with lock. Oooh now. We sure moved up from lusting for a $300 bag, to lusting for a UK£775 tote. Someone pacify me, I am soo loving this bag. It’s the color!! I had always dreamed of owning one designer bag in each color. I shudder to think how many colors there are that I’d really like. But this bag will definitely be on that list. I like, I like, I like!! Do you?

OK let’s not get sidetracked. We gotta figure out what to get with the measly money we have saved for a bag. Or then again, I should seriously hold out for that brighten blue birkin… Sad. And I should seriously be kicking myself in the head now since I politely declined the Brighten blue Kelly that Hermes offered me a few weeks ago 🙁 Well duh, can’t help it, I have no money! I have enough trouble figuring out ways to prevent those card companies from hounding me continuously :D.

Gotta get shuteye now. I’m supposed to be due for a blood test tomorrow (to check my cholesterol uh oh). Looong day ahead too!

P.S. Ok I had to revise this entry to add this: I COULD NOT resist eating something, so I went ahead and munched on some more junk food, thereby rendering the bloodtest tomorrow completely useless. I have to reschedule my blood test while DH does his tomorrow. Sorry DH, I really have LOW EQ. Especially when I’m faced with one of my fave junkfoods!! *sheepish grin*
