I first met designer Xinzhan through our gorgeous mutual friend Janina over fashion week.

All I can say is, I’m so grateful to have met her because she happens to be the other half of the brilliant design duo behind Atelier GX, a label that’s stocked by major retailers like LUISAVIAROMA
in Firenze, Le Bon Marché in Paris, Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong, as well as department stores in Italy, Singapore, Britain, the UAE, Spain, etc.
Both Gaowei and Xinzhan are Chinese, met at the Atelier Savard Paris while finishing their fashion studies, and the rest is history 🙂 Their label was officially launched in 2001. And their focus? Prints! You all know I love prints but to find a good designer label that is able to fuse brilliant prints with good fabric, and come up with a beautiful silhouette? Very few can pull that off. One such designer is Mary Katrantzou, and the other is Atelier GX. I am a biiiig fan!!
Here are my favorites from their Spring/ Summer 2012 collection. These are pieces I am really looking forward to owning. I was already able to preview the Fall/ Winter 2012-13 collection too, but I will save that for another post *I looooved everything too– I practically shopped in their showroom LOL*

I am so in love with the prints and the structures of each piece I featured. I look forward most to the short- sleeved shift dresses with either the red or the blue floral prints. Oh and that green bejewelled top directly above 🙂
I’d love to see their clothes on Netaporter, Harrods, as well as other online retailers soon so we can all buy them without having to physically go to the stores. Do you like the collection as much as I did? 🙂
