Spillovers from 2010

I am still sick as I type but I just have to blog (quickly) before I start forgetting what I need to write. Anyway, I think I have pneumonia and will be seeing a doctor for it. I’ve been taking antibiotics and they seem to be working. However though the fever continues to haunt my body every few hours or so (what is up with that right? Bad infection!).

Anyway let me talk bags. There will be popular bag “spillovers” from 2010 into 2011, and here are some:

ALEXANDER WANG: Rocco Mini Duffle Bag

ALEXANDER WANG - ROCCO MINI DUFFLE TOP HANDLE

Despite its weight, the bag remains popular because of its classic shape and the added convenience of a shoulder strap. It is really a beautiful bag. I still have my camel colored one *which has no shoulder strap– first edition ones had none*, but I think I will already trade that in / upgrade to another color soon 🙂 This particular bag and color is definitely on my must- have list for this year.

FENDI: Peek-a-boo top handle bag in medium

FENDI - MEDIUM PEEK A BOO TOP HANDLE

I have never owned this bag but have a number of friends who swear by it. Its popularity has allowed Fendi to even customize bags for their clients! The larger version is heavy but you can opt for this medium one– the style itself is already considered a classic. After all, it is pretty too 🙂
MULBERRY: Oversized Alexa in Soft Buffalo Leather

MULBERRY - SOFT BUFFALO ALEXA OVERSIZED TOP HANDLE

Not much needs to be said about this bag. It’s tried and tested and is definitely a winner! This is probably the best spillover from 2010. And this watermelon color is gorgeous! Contrary to what you might think that it’s hard to match with clothes in your closet, I think this will work well– it’ll give your look that added pop of color! I love this! *Confession: The Mulberry Alexa to me is like the Balenciaga Motorcycle to others– but the Mulberry is much more durable. My mom can’t even use her old Balenciagas anymore because they are so scuffed up after just less than 3 months of use*
And that’s it for now. I need to rest up. Later peeps!
