I love reading news about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They have really injected a young and fresh feel to the practically staid image of the British Royal family. And from what I’ve read of them so far during their first official overseas tour, everyone who has met them has said only wonderful things about them 🙂
The Royal couple are currently in Los Angeles, and are on the last leg of their tour. While they were in Canada some days ago, one of the soldiers was photographed carrying an almost- transparent garment bag which had a floor- length gown in it.

Trust a Brit tabloid (The Mail) to speculate that this dress would be the gown Catherine wears to the BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala in Los Angeles.
And well, well, well, the speculation? CORRECT! I’m sure the Duchess would’ve read about her gown being “outed” by the press, but it’s great that she didn’t care to change her gown at the last minute just because the public had already caught a glimpse of it. No more of that “it’s a secret, thou shall not reveal” scenario *think her Alexander McQueen wedding gown which was well worth everyone’s wait :D*

Catherine stepped out in a flowing lavender Alexander McQueen gown with a bejewelled belt that cinched and highlighted her tiny waist! *Gasp* I don’t doubt that she has a 23- inch waist judging by the photo above.
Catherine also carried a Jimmy Choo Ubai Clutch

I’m honestly not too keen on the clutch at all– the design is more appropriate for a wallet than for a formal clutch. Kate’s choice of color is laudable though. But I would’ve wanted her to carry a clutch that had cleaner lines (none of that hardware “plate” on the clutch, please).
Now let’s talk about the jewellery! Were they all lent to her by the Queen (I read the earrings were) or were they already given to her? 🙂 *Woohoo I love me some Royal Jewels!!* Does anyone know ?
