Rockwell SALE ongoing + Mrs. T pigs out + Jean Paul Gaultier

SALE ALERT: Shopaholics, time to troop over to Rockwell Power Plant Mall this weekend. It’s their annual pre-Christmas sale (mallwide) where you can get as much as 70% off (if you’re lucky) on merchandise! Go, go, go!!

Ok, so MC and I had lunch at Florabel’s the other day. We both decided to share two dishes– that way we get the best of both worlds.

We ordered the foie gras burger (cholesterol calling!)
and to balance the meal (aka balance the cholesterol), we also ordered the Sea Bass with mashed potatoes and spinach.
The foie gras burger was not as good as the first time I had it when I was with my family. I guess it must be the absence of foie gras (too small? hehehe we like em BIG and fatty!!). The beef burger was tasty itself. It’s really worth a try, this dish. Not often you get a hearty marriage of “rich” ingredients, right? 🙂

We topped off the meal with an order of the creamy vanilla panna cotta with fruit compote. This is really yummy. The photo just didn’t do it justice 🙂

Florabel’s is located at The Podium restaurant strip (outside the mall).

Ooh Neiman Marcus is now carrying the Jean Paul Gaultier detective satchel. I did mention before that I liked the bag in camel, but now that I saw it in camel, I am divided. Well it has that certain “je ne sais quois”, but I would need a little more prodding before I fish out US$1295 for the bag. Anyone liking this? Well for one, Madonna does 😀

P.S. I finally met up with my baghag friend from up north, CPP. I am so pleased to meet you, girl. And I swear, your DH rocks! Hags, if your loved ones tolerate your bag purchases (like MS’s DH whom I also had the pleasure of meeting today), they are wayyyy tooo cooool! So give em a hug and a kiss to show your appreciation (and yeah, you know, you gotta suck up to them. LV’s damier azur line is getting launched soon hehehe).
