Rockwell Powerplant Mall Events this weekend!

Ok, call me a loser, but I’ve never been to Boracay. Yes, there was no mistake in that sentence– I’ve NEVER been to Boracay. But it looks like the food in Boracay is coming to ME 🙂 *muwahahahaha*

I’ve never heard of this Choriburger, but from the sound of it, I will like it! So I’m going to this event because 1. I want to try Choriburger, and 2. It’s in my neck of the woods 😀 At Rockwell PowerPlant Mall 🙂

Also today at the Mall, there’s this event called  Carna Manila, Brasilipinas 2010 from 8pm onwards.  So go, go, go check out the event.
Before midnight, make sure to swing by Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Manila to usher in the new Year of the Golden Tiger!

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone 🙂

  1. hi! don’t be sad, you’ve got company there! Never been to boracay either and it still isn’t in my list of places to go before i die. Palawan, Davao and Pagudpud are still the nicest in the Philippines!

  2. Hmmm Sure the sand is perfectly fine but a lot has change in Boracay. I am quite disappointed when I went there last year with my girlfriends. Super daming “lumot” na which means that polluted na siya ; ( sad but true and super commercialized na… I want to go to Amanpulo haha xoxo

  3. Hi Ingrid! I’ve never been to Boracay, either, but it’s not the only place where you can get delicious chori-burgers!

Bun on the Run also had choriburgers.

They are delicious for only PhP 75 (one chori-patty) or PhP 105 (I think- for the double-chori-patty).

The original single patty bun on the run chori-burger is the perfect balance of chorizo, coleslaw, cream cheese and warm toasty bread, though.

I get my fix from the Salcedo Village branch nearby.

Here are some links, some include branch locations:

Also another must-try of their daw is their PorkLoin burger. Hmmmm…

  4. @aina: Heyyy thanks for all that! i would love to try the others too. Porkloin burger… hmmm indeed!

@MrsMartinez: oh that’s sad, but i think i still want to see boracay one day– when i get that “hot and sexy” body. Hahaha right now, I’d rather do a private beach *hah, as if i can afford again* where no one can see my fats LOL

@Anon: but are you from the Philippines, living in the Philippines right now? 🙂

  5. Hi, Mrs. T! I thought you won’t even post my comment cuz I’m Anonymous. I’m so glad! (doin’ cartwheels now.)
Nope, I’m not from the Philippines but I’ve been to your country countless times. My friends regularly fly to Boracay for their diving trips. My favorites are Makati, Palawan beaches and Davao City. Pagudpud tops my list on my next trip.
    Happy blogging!
