Reeboks that make you lose the cellulite + CONTEST!!!

So I promised myself that this is the year I will map out a workout regime to keep me fit. I have said that over the last … 4 years that “I will work out, I will work out,” but it never works out. I have done bikram yoga for 2 consecutive SUMMERS (not years hahaha), and while I think it’s the best way to lose weight fast, I don’t think 2x a week of it will do me any good (hahaha and I might collapse from dehydration– hahaha hey, it almost happened to me!!) Especially with the way I eat– and now, with that Joel Robuchon cookbook
that my friend Patricia just recently gave me (oh nooooo cookfest here I come :D).

I wasn’t in despair just yet, until the time I went to Amanpulo and realized how much flab overhang I had in my gut area, and how much cellulite I’ve umm… earned over the last few years (yes, I shamefully admit to having cellulite because of … lack of exercise? *sob*). Worse, I had no more “stamina”. I feel like a 60 year old (and even 60 year olds are healthier than I!!!) trapped in this 30 something body!
I freaked out all the more last week when none of my jeans fit me– all that ramen, sushi, and oh, those different flavored Kit Kats!! Royal Milk Tea flavor, Wasabi *yes, Wasabi!!* flavor which was sooo addicting, and Green tea flavor–
they all finally caught up with me!!! Oh and don’t even suggest that perhaps my jeans shrunk after washing. I don’t think it’s possible that ALL  my jeans shrunk at the same time *waaaaa :(*.

While I was planning to enroll myself in Stott Pilates upon Daphne’s recommendation, I was given information about a pair of shoes that will help you tone your muscles as you wear them. No, these are not those sandals that promised to lift the butt (I don’t think they worked on me, even if they’re pretty comfortable to wear hahaha).
These are Shoes– by Reebok, a brand I practically grew up with 🙂 *Remember those hi- tops where you wear them with scrunched down socks?
I had two pairs of those Reeboks in two different colors– white, and royal/ tanzanite blue if I remember correctly!*
The other day I was just flipping through an old Vogue magazine (circa 1990s) and I chanced upon the “I Believe” ads of Reebok. And this evening, I was on twitter and I saw that #ibelieve was a trending topic (oh boy did I tweet a lot of #ibelieves :D).
And sooo, I thought it befitting to blog about Reebok— also to show you the old “I Believe” Ads before I segue into how Reebok is once again out to revolutionize our “lifestyle” 😉

“I Believe Life is Short. Play Hard.” (Couldn’t have said it better!)

“I believe the desserts you eat on vacation do count. I believe liposuction is not the answer. I believe I can make it through this damn class.” *Remember those Step Aerobics classes? 😀 Yup, I took them!*

“I believe if you look at yourself and see what is right instead of what is wrong, that is the true mark of a healthy individual”. Oh how true!!!
(Sorry I took photos of these pages since I don’t know how to operate the scanner without DH around hahaha)
Now let’s talk about Reebok. It’s not a new shoe for my workout (although I know Reebok will come out with running shoes and trainers with this technology soon).  But it’s definitely a pair of shoes I’d see myself wearing to work, to travel, or to go out with the kids on weekends. And the best thing about these new Reeboks? You don’t just wear them to the gym. Because even off the gym, you will still be able to activate those key leg muscles and tone them with every step if you wear these.
They’re Reebook Easytones. They are easy to wear shoes, and they come in wonderful color combinations!
This is my favorite and this is the very pair I’m getting–it has purrrrple!!!  I do need a new pair of “walking” shoes for travel and these fit the bill. I can’t believe these will also help me tone my leg muscles! What’s not to like about these, right? 🙂
Oh boy I like this yellow- matte silvery color combination too!
Reebok Easytones have balance pods located under the heel and forefoot of the shoes. The balance pods create a natural instability, and by forcing your muscles to adapt to that, the shoe actually encourages the toning of these key leg muscles!
This is also my lucky color this year. Oh my, decisions, decisions!
Gold 🙂 This is pretty!!
Perfect summer sneakers that will keep those leg muscles toned.
Easytone also has flip flops!
They’re not chunky like other flipflops that claim to tone muscles. These Reebok Easytone flipflops are fabulous for the beach 🙂  And they’re only Php 3,095 (much cheaper than a gym membership :D)  The Easytone shoes are Php 5,495 by the way. Not bad at all!
Reebok Easytone shoes have already been so successful overseas, and now they’re finally available in the Philippines!

I’m really inspired by this ad below hahaha 🙂 If these shoes can give you a firmer boo-tay, tighter calves and hamstrings, why think twice about getting them?
Oh and it’s actually proven! Extensive tests show that by walking in these Easytone shoes, there is 11% more activity for key muscles in the calves and hamstrings. There is likewise 28% more muscle activity for the gluteus maximus (so Roman sounding! Aka gluts!). No reason for you not to get these shoes anymore if your aim is to firm up the bootay and get firmer leg muscles :)! *You can be sure that this baghag’s going to get a pair to wear for an upcoming trip! WooHoo!!!*

  5. Oh yea I love the Royal Milk Tea and Green Tea flavors as well! 🙂 Haven’t tried wasabi but I’ve tried soy sauce. Surprisingly, pretty good. One of the things I love about Japan would be their KitKats. I buy all the different KitKat flavors I see hahaha. 🙂
