“RED”

Last week, NotEnoughCircuses Creative Director Ariel Lozada and Tessa Valdes invited me to attend RED, a ball which she co- organized and produced with Kaye Tinga. The event was created to raise funds, and apart from the fundraising segment this year, the ball will feature the collection of Dubai- based designer Michael Cinco. Tessa’s a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. Ariel’s just brilliant. I’ve seen both of their work on many occasions and hold these two people in the highest regard.

I normally don’t fancy heading out to a party on a weekend– jammies are my favorite clothes to be honest, and hanging out at home in them is a favorite pastime haha. Plus I’m massively jetlagging and it has been a crazy week of parties (and more to come next week),  but my goodness to join Tessa and her friends in an event which aimed to raise funds *by way of 2 auctions– one live, one silent* (Philippine Red Cross was the beneficiary) as well as to be treated to a good show? What’s not to like about that, right? 🙂 Whip out a gown from the bowels of my closet, I am there lol! It was an honor to have been asked, so I said yes, yes, yes! 🙂

Alas, I only brought my point-and-shoot camera with me, and I did regret not having brought the bigger camera to capture better shots for you all. Managed to take these photos from the show though 🙂

Saw so many old friends from the industry! Have so many photos but don’t have the time to post all of them now as I’m about to head out. Thank you, Tessa!

I’m so pleased to hear from Tessa that the ball had raised a good sum for the Philippine Red Cross. Plus everyone who attended had a fantastic time! What a way to end the weekend 🙂
