Hey peeps! Here’s a quick update on what’s happening with your Fabella fund.
I’ve still been getting donations in kind from generous peeps like PN of Madison (check out her shop Madison, in Archaeology at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall ) who donated 2 huge boxes full of clothes,
and GB who donated toys as well as baby clothes and baby bottles.
We’ve decided we are going to pool all these donations together and redistribute them for Christmas to Fabella (baby clothes) as well as to Alay ng Puso Orphanage in Del pan (for baby bottles, toys, etc).
I’ve also recently sat down with Rea Harrow of Moms for Moms for the complete accounting of the moneys that you all have so generously donated. I have a thick stack of photocopied receipts as well as a full accounting of where each centavo went.
To our sponsors and donors who would like a copy of the full accounting of the amounts that I have disbursed to Rea for the Ondoy flood victims, please let me know via text or email (tresormakati@gmail.com), so I can request for the excel file copy from Rea and email them over to you 🙂
Our standing balance for Fabella is Php 339,100. Before Christmas, we would have already completed the transfer of this amount into payment for Fabella equipment. I will already be coordinating with Chuvaness on our remaining amounts so that we’d be able to turn over everything to the hospital (in kind) before year- end! This has to be done already!
Thanks again everyone for your generosity!! More updates soon– Candy + Rea have just recently asked to schedule the trip to the orphanage– tentatively on November 18 🙂
