Prada and Miu Miu… My flavors of the week! :)

*Scream* Why oh why did I have to surf shop tonight?

I found this beautiful bag by Miu Miu. I’m so in love with it. This belted leather satchel is so perfect for the summer heat. The price ain’t so bad either (it’s either this or Prada price… so I’ll take the former, thank you) at US$1,080. The only problem I’m trying so hard to cope with right now is, the bag has no detachable shoulder strap. This bag is almost perfect! But worth a sniff sniff!! Available at neimanmarcus.com

I was just actually thanking my lucky stars that there’s this “good bag drought” this year when this bag pops up. I have no budget for it right now because of that “big” news I’m about to share this coming week with you all. And psst, JP, it ain’t a bag!! 😀

Since I mentioned that “good bag drought”, I think I ought to take that back. Because I have to say that Prada actually has some nice bags which are currently on their shelves *errr… I’m not talking about those fringe bags*. Of course the only problem is, the price is a bit on the high side 🙁

Prada Gauffre Antik Tote. While the color black may not appeal to me, I still chose this bag to be on my recommended bag list simply because it is pretty. I love the ruching of the bag, and it just plays up the softness of the leather so well that you can actually already tell it is indeed a buttery soft leather by just looking at it. P.S. Weekend Bag Bulletin: To the Goyard fans out there– here is validation that the brand is gaining popularity among the brand loving, bag hogging community. I was told that Store Specialists Inc. (the company that brought us Prada, Gucci, Bottega, Fendi etc) is apparently in talks with the peeps at Goyard. Could it be that Goyard is finally coming to Manila? 🙂 *thebaghag sits tight for this :D* (I’m tired of the Chanel and Hermes boutique opening rumors… but Goyard? This is news to me indeed! :D)
