Paris Neige

I am so forgetful these days. So I have nice photos I took yesterday with my camera, but what do you know, someone forgot to pack the special cable for the Nikon. And since the Mac’s cardreader doesn’t seem to read my memory card, I am left with no choice but to take photos using my iPhone– beginning today 🙁
Anyway guess what, it snowed a bit last night in Paris! And this was actually the first time I was in Paris with fairly “heavy” snow– the first time I experienced it, it was just a snow flurry and the snow didn’t really stay on the ground. Last night was a different matter– the roads were blanketed in white 🙂 It was beautiful!
So this morning as I took that dreaded (yes I actually dread the cold because the clothes I brought with me are not enough to keep me warm and toasty) below- freezing walk, I took this shot.

Paris is really so beautiful. A simple street corner like this, with remains of last night’s snow/ today’s “slush”  is already so appealing to me. Cars and people had already passed by the street and had melted much of the snow, but still… it was a sight that made me smile and say yes, Paris, je t’aime…
More later 🙂 I have to go out again– I only headed back to post this photo and to grab my gloves which I forgot. *I can’t feel my fingers as I type this post by the way :D*
