One Day in Hong Kong?

When people ask me how to make the most of Hong Kong if they only have one day (since it’s really impossible to do Hong Kong in just one day), my answer is easy: don’t shop. Just eat!

Confession:
That was what I did. Hong Kong in one day– first flight out, last flight in. *Ok, so I’m officially addicted to travel…sob*. My only consolation this time is, I got to travel for free 🙂 *woooHoooo!! Thank you, sponsor!!!*

Yung Kee’s famous (award- winning) roast duck and steamed chicken. You CANNOT not finish these. I had a cup of rice with them… *darn I’m craving for these now….*

Tai Ping Koon’s HUGE souffle
The peeps next to our table were amused at the size of the “thing” too. They were taking so many photos 🙂
Made me wonder how a store with this name got approved! Merchandise: Clothes. But then, Hong Kong is country where you’ve got people with names like Creamy, Isk Isk, and Tasty 🙂 Hehehe (I happen to know these people too)

Sadly, the Hong Kong airport seems rather “still” on a weekday. We practically had the airport all to ourselves (feeling VIP hahaha).

Prada
bags, anyone? No one was shopping… The absence of last- minute designer label- loving shoppers reflected the sorry state of the economy 🙁

*Dreamy look* Nothing beats the one and a half hour “commute” if only to de-stress. Suddenly makes me wish I owned a private jet hahaha (ok, wait. That’s dumb. I don’t want to own a private jet *as if I can afford one hahahaha pfft*– I can’t imagine the amount you have to spend for maintenance. I don’t want the headache hehehe.)

*Sigh* I just have to rack up more free air miles to be able to do this again next time. Unless someone out there has a better idea… Airline sponsor perhaps? Hahaha 😀

(Photos taken with iPhone 3g. Sorry if they’re grainy. I didn’t bring any luggage with me, so I didn’t bother taking my big camera with me as well.)

P.S. To my dear friend with the petal pink bag (that she still refuses to use hahaha), thank you so much!

P.P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big boss and my business idol, DB! He turns a year older today! 🙂 🙂
