A few weeks ago, I was handed over an invitation from Louis Vuitton.
I stared at the invitation. WOW. Yves Carcelle is going to be in town! I found out a little later that M. Carcelle was actually just going to stop over in Manila for a few hours before he continues on with his flight to Australia! A few days after I received the invitation, I get a follow up call from LV Manila’s lovely PR Manager Vanessa Santos about my attendance. *Aww, we sorely missed Vanessa because of her delicate condition, but congratulations is in order!! :)*
Would I like to attend? Of course! Who’d pass on this opportunity to meet one of the world’s greatest luxury business leaders? It’s almost like asking who’d be willing to miss the chance to meet and talk to their favorite pop idols face to face. Certainly not me! 🙂 Tonight, I had that chance. It was not just a photo op. It was a real opportunity to have that chat *beams*.

And while M. Carcelle was unable to attend that epic Louis Vuitton Manila *Philippines* re-opening (I’m sure he was so busy then with so many new LV boutiques opening worldwide), it was exceptionally good of him to pass by the LV Manila boutique, headed by country manager Rhea Aguirre. Rhea and the LV Manila team have been doing an incredible job and I’ve heard so many wonderful things about them. M. Carcelle couldn’t not visit to see for himself 🙂

Oh, here’s another cool highlight of this intimate affair: The “exhibition” of Ernest Kahn, one of Louis Vuitton’s newest sales team member specially for the holiday season. He wowed everyone, including M. Carcelle himself. Exactly what did he do?

It may have been a brief meeting with everyone, but Yves left a long-lasting impact without a doubt. Thank you so much, Louis Vuitton for extending me this wonderful invitation of meeting such a brilliant man! 🙂
