Ok so there was drama that happened late this afternoon. After the Milan Fashion Week officially began with the Gucci show which was pretty darned sparkly spectacular *will post about this tonight*, I hitched a ride with Bryanboy *who has a chauffeured Range Rover taking him around to shows* and popped over the Dolce & Gabbana showroom *will also post about this soon*.
Soon after, I was back in my apartment and ready to upload photos from the Gucci show. Guess what, my Mac suddenly went pitch black and died. I tried resurrecting it but it seems the Mac had stage 4 cancer and had given up. So yes, it’s really dead.
I’m using a new Mac now. I can’t believe that my bag money just went to getting a new Macbook Pro but I know this is worth every cent– especially now that the old Mac gave out!
Anyway I am getting ready to leave the apartment now for both the Gucci store party as well as the Louis Vuitton store party at Via Montenapoleone. I’ll update very soon and with photos!
I am just sooo grateful tonight that my husband backed up my laptop before I left, and even more grateful now because he stayed up until 2am on the other side of the world to walk me through the registration etc of this new Mac. You see, I am really handicapped when it comes to gadgets. I guess this was a painful lesson I had to learn. Oh yeah, the other lesson? Learn how to take better care of my gadgets!!

Omg…same thing happened to my white Macbook…but I really happy w/ my Mac air though! how are you liking yours?
Boy, do I know how you feel. My MAC died when I arrived in the UK. I was inconsolable for a week. I know it’s a laptop but still……
