Not Quite a Party Animal!

I honestly can’t be bothered with hair and make-up when it comes to preparing for events (Default hairstyle: high pony; Make-up: minimal. Because if I try to do full- on makeup myself, I end up looking like a cast member of some Chinese Opera production haha). When I have the time for proper make-up though, I pop by the Shu Uemura counter at Rockwell Power Plant Mall to have my face “painted” *haha war paint* by Cindy Pineda. I love her and the Shu Uemura team because they’re always so accommodating!

I’m not great with attending events in general, but I have been going to parties lately only to support the organizers who happen to be friends. I missed out on some good ones (like FerdiS’s Leg Love *congratulations!*) and though I harp about being tired after, I admit I have a great time because I get the chance to meet new people, run into old colleagues and industry friends and catch up on what’s been going on with them.

So there. My point-and-shoot camera has been working overtime of late, and while it would normally take about 5 days’ worth of sporadic photographing before I charge the battery, all it took were a few hours of nonstop shooting to drain it. After this week, my small camera will take a sabbatical :D!

Anyway, it has been a rather fun and crazy week. My jetlag’s still pretty bad, which is also why I go out after our family dinners to try and tire myself out faster :). Hopefully my schedule goes back to normal very soon– before I jet off again to bring you more blog adventures.  Now why don’t you tell me all about your week? 🙂
