My Favorites at Luisa Via Roma, Firenze

Here are some of the most unforgettable pieces I’ve seen at LUISAVIAROMA.COM in Firenze.

I am still haunted by these images, to tell you the truth. In fashion, to rise above a challenge and go beyond the challenge is what it is really all about. If you don’t have something mind- blowing to bring to the table, you won’t get that kind of recognition that you aspire for– after all, what will set you apart from the rest of the design world, right?
I believe these pieces I’ve chosen are the creations of designers who have really “pushed the envelop” to bring consumers a little something unusual, and unique– something worth the consumer’s money!
On top of my list is the Dsquared spine heeled bandage sandals. I wore these shoes and wow, while they were sky- high, they were indeed actually comfortable. These spine heels also come in booties (This is also a favorite of a lot of the bloggers– biggest fan? Bryanboy!)

I am in love with these shoes. They “Grow” on you 🙂 And yes, VERY comfortable! If there is a statement piece in your closet this season (bag, shoes, dress), let it be this shoe. Please.
Another pair of shoes I wish I tried on are the Nicholas Kirkwood x Rodarte
Amazing. One of the models who wore the shoes mentioned that they were very comfortable. This is definitely another pair of shoes I wouldn’t mind having in my closet sometime soon!! 🙂
If you are also into jewelry like I am *although I wish I do have a brag- worthy collection to show you all*, then Sevan Bicakci’s rings are worthwhile investments.
These are indeed portable works of art. Mosques or other images meticulously etched into certain stones and properly set into rings are as unique as you can get.
They may not be cheap, but who said works of great artists like Picasso were?
Jeremy Scott x Addidas sneakers. In this color? What’s not to love? I want them for two reasons: a. I’m a sneaker hoarder too *unbeknownst to many of you*, and b. Technicolor! *I am a sucker for colorful things :D*
David Koma dress. Very intriguing details on an actual dress! I was actually thinking this could’ve been inspired by one of Henry VIII’s armors. You may not see me wear this dress (because I don’t think I’ll fit into the dress– and will probably not do justice to it, but oh Gawd it’s sooo fantastic), but I would love to see this on someone who has the right body for it!!
And then of course, there’s the Zagliani python east- west bowler.

If you have not yet heard of Zagliani bags, it’s time to know about them. These bags are soooooo luxurious and soft to the touch, unlike any other exotic leather bag you’ve ever handled. Zagliani leathers are treated– not in the usual way you think! Designer Mauro Orietti- Carella (once a dermatology student who has since left the field of medicine for fashion) uses a silicon- based formula to treat dried exotic leathers– think Botox for these bags (as Kate Finnigan of the UK Telegraph mentioned). So these bags are unbelievably soft to the touch. Once my hands touched the skin of this bag above, I had such a hard time letting go! So if you’re tired of the mainsteam designer bag brands’exotics, Zagliani is now the way to go.

All these will be available (or are already available) for pre-order at LUISAVIAROMA.COM

I was over the moon when I saw all the pre-fall 2010 merchandise and it was not easy to eliminate the ones I want from the ones I realllllly want, but here they are.  Enjoy this one!
