Mrs.T Answers Questions + Pictionary!!!

To answer the common question that a number of you comment posters asked, here’s my reply.

Our media and brand- consulting company is a partnership between a fellow bag lover (my good friend), and I. We help build brands and company image, write press releases, and assist with media relations. We also offer consultancy work on the company’s product/services through our trusted partner- suppliers who unquestioningly deliver. That’s about as specific as I can get right now. If you want more details and are thinking of contracting our services, then email me.

Anyway, our current project is fashion- related: accessories! In this particular project, we are handling media relations– both foreign and local. Don’t worry hags, I won’t keep you all in the dark about this project for long. Our client is pretty high profile 🙂 *beams… yeah yeah brag brag* I will definitely reveal who it is, and what it is that we are doing for them. The slated launch is on the week of November 13. It is really soon *gulp* but I’m very confident with our team– everyone is highly competent and can get the job done well. So after this collection gets launched, my partner and I will have to put our feet up and take a little R&R *we are hoping we get the time for this haha*

And yes, I offer personal bag consultation services for a small fee 🙂 I’m basically taking baghagging to the next level. I thoroughly enjoy answering each and every bag query on my emails, but it is also a pretty time consuming process. And more often than not, I am not able to give a thorough opinion and report on a particular bag in question. A consultation from me will not only get you a more personalized reply, it can also get you a more detailed report about that particular bag that you might want/ or are asking about. If you are interested in , just text (+63916) 758-0857.

Along the same lines, I can also “bag shop” with baghags who are in Manila– hello Greenbelt can very well be my 2nd home *oh how I wish!! hahaha*. And again, my consultation/ personal shopping service fees are not expensivo *I’m no Hollywood stylist or image consultant, or else I’d be able to charge local celebs like Php 200k haha*– we baghags still need the moolah for new bags haha. I’m doing this for sustainability *YES I am pooooor*! While some baghags don’t need to break a sweat to make money, I need to work like a coolie to get a mere 5 bucks! *Boohooo!!* Gotta feed that bag addiction or I won’t ever become a baghag! (I am still a baghag wanna be!) I think the most important service that I provide my clients is their anonymity. I will not divulge their identities to others. That’s one thing you can count on.

As for putting up my own accessories line, while I had considered and played around with the thought for quite some time now, I realize that I am better off scouring for nice ones made by other people. It was also suggested that I put my own bag line. While the thought sounds noble enough for a baghag wannabe like me, I simply couldn’t get myself to do it. If I did have my own line, then I’d be real biased, right? I think I’d rather leave the bagmaking to the bag experts. I am and will probably always be, a consumer. A sucker if you will 😀

As for Rabeanco bags, I’m sad to say that you won’t be able to find them in New York 🙁

JS asked about the LV Mizi Vienna bag. I had one of those bags awhile back. It was quite a chunky bag, and is available in 3 colors– black, green, and aubergine.

P.S. So Mrs.T did social climb yesterday 😀 I went to a kiddie party. Wait– off topic here: hey, let’s play Pictionary! WHERE was this photo taken? This was found at the venue of the kiddie party 😀

And what is this?GUESS away peeps!!! 🙂

At the party, I saw some real nice bags *hahaha*. And while I was the biggest loser by not having seen the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur collection in person, I saw the Speedy 30 on the pretty and pregnant BeaLhuillier (who was way too shy to pose for our camera hence the 1st stolen shot of her and the bag. She later agreed for a foto– to show her bag haha :D). It’s really pretty and so “cruise”. I am still quite baffled that they released it in Fall ’06 (and not last Spring). But whatever. It’s a pretty bag. And that bag is available in Hong Kong– on the shelves of LV! *Ugh lust lust*

P.P.S. Designer-to-celebrities Monique Lhuillier is coming to town to show her collection! It’s being handled by Asia Society. Are any of the baghags reading this blog going to her show? *tell tell!!!* Natch, Mrs.T did not get invited to the show. It’s a fundraising event and it’s a few grand a plate, and pray tell, where will Mrs.T get the money to fund that? 😀 *hello, poor poor hag!* But if YOU happen to be going, do tell !! We’d love to hear all about it!

P.P.P.S. Speaking of designers, did you all hear that Nicolas Ghesquiere was in town (unofficially though)?? *shock*. Nicolas Ghesquiere = Balenciaga = Balenciaga Motorcycle bags. *YES HIM!* Ugh and I didn’t even know he was in town (not like I’d get the chance to meet him, but still! WOW eh? :-D)

  6. hey hag!

Just wanted to give you a heads up on the new chanel oversized cabas bag for the cruise line. It is very beautiful. You should check it out. They call it Baby Cabas in the purseforum because it is slightly smaller than the previously launched Cabas.

Just thought you might be interested since I am lusting for this bag.

Maybe you can do a feature.

    Goodluck on your new project.
