Mrs.T admits: I have a few “disorders”

*Whew!* I finally, I get to sit down once more and type away my life in this blog. And before anything else, let me tell you about my miserable day, which basically started from the time I opened my eyes this morning. *BAWL* My sore throat is BACK! With a vengeance!!! See, the hyperacidicity of Mrs.T is back once again, after downing 3 orders of Spicytuna sushi (damnit it was SOOOO gooooooood but I’m now being made to pay *BAWL*). Oh oh, you should try the creamy spicytuna sushi at Akiga Japanese Restaurant at the Podium (I’d go back in a heartbeat and hurt my throat some more, just to have more of that sushi *hehehe bad bad girl!*)

Yesterday, I went to meet up with two super cool moms/hags– MommyM, and my *cough* kumare (hehe I know girl, you get chills when I mention that word hehehe I just loove being “related” to your family *hehehe wink!*). Originally, I was to meet them separately, but what the heck, they both got along so well that in the end, I was so glad we were all together. What else did we talk about? Bags 🙂 *and time stood still haha*

Apres our meeting, MommyM and I headed to Homme et Femme, where we checked out the Balenciaga bags (no, not dresses hehehe *wink*) that were available. There was a Lilac weekender tote, and the new line of bags which replaced the Motorcycle bags. We both did not like it (and I remember saying that the bags really looked like “biker” bags. Too much “chrome” haha). So again, both our wallets are safe (and the bet with my DH, I still intend to win. HAH, DH if you are reading this, I will win baby! I have faith in myself *I hope haha*).

After the little walkabout, MommyM had to split, so I was left wandering around the expanse of this mall. There was this boutique called Religioso which caught my eye, partly because the interior was done quite nicely, but more importantly, because a black shirt had stolen my clotheshorse alter ego (and THAT does not happen often, I tell you– I am comfy with US$5 tshirts thank you). Religioso also has brocade and lacey tops, and cutie cute hot pants (hehehe my version of “pekpek” shorties hehehe– oh, oh, I must divulge!! I bought “pekpek” shorties on the Zara sale WOoHoO). So if you happen to swing by Edsa Shangrila Mall, don’t forget to pass by Religioso (they are located near Mango and Figaro, by the escalator beside Crossings Dept.Store).

Great. I realize that I DO have CSD— Compulsive Shopping Disorder/ Disease *among others, which I will enumerate later* (But pssst, I do know that CSD is highly contagious hahaha). I went and bought that black Religioso shirt after having tried it on, and realizing that the shirt had my name on it (right. pathetic excuse, here I come). Thank goodness I didn’t get a bag though (awww I know, you hags must be disappointed tsk tsk… hello, if you have maybe US$1.5 K to spare me, I’d go and get that Bottega now hahaha)

Having somewhat of a conscience (half a conscience) did stop me from buying the Kate Spade straw bag that I featured yesterday *ugh pound head why didn’t I get it?!* at just Php1,000 (which by the way, is technically owned now by someone– we just have yet to schedule meeting up teehee). I went into Debenhams and saw their straw totes for Php3,000 UP! Geeez. I really missed out on the Kate Spade straw bag. Sheesh. And did that bag yesterday look good against the garden-y background or what? *bawl and there I was screaming, SCORE SCORE it’s only 1k!*

So now that I have fully admitted to having that disease (but hey, at least I do use the things I buy– I may hoard every so often, but I definitely end up using each and one of them, so there *sigh another excuse to make myself feel better hehe*), I am gonna go and indulge in yet another sinful practice– eating sweets! My dear friend Ms.S came by today for a visit and she brought me this SOOO SINFUL chocolate cake *ugh, mouth watering already!* from Becky’s Kitchen.

CONFESSIONS of the day: I’m telling you hags, I have all these “diseases” and I shall enumerate for your sadistic pleasure (hehe).

  • LPR– This is a medical thing (the others aren’t hehe)- laryngopharyngeal reflux of hyperacidity which results in chronic sore throat
  • CSD– Compulsive shopping disorder (I always come home with something when I go to the Mall! *yikes*)
  • CSA– Cardswipe abuse (which stems from CSD– what cash can’t pay, card will *oooh que mal!!)
  • MDD– Mounting debt disease (which obviously comes from CSD and CSA *muwahahaha tsk tsk all these are related*)
  • SIS– Sinful indulgence of sweets, in this case, Chocolate *which is also technically prohibited for hyperacidic peeps* (see when you get depressed, isn’t eating the first thing you do since you are too broke to actually “shop”? And isn’t it somewhat clinically tested that taking in chocolate gives you a certain high? It’s a picker upper, I’m telling you– and this will result back to my first disease LPR)

Now that I have revealed all these, I better shut my piehole and hide under a rock (actually, time for me to have my cake and eat it too *wink hehe*)
