More Sales + Giving Back

In today’s economy, every cent counts (wow I sound like MSNBC hahaha). So when there are online sales, you should find some time to pore over what’s available.

Check out this BCBG Max Azria Bedford Large Shoulder Bag. I love the color!! And again, we are all for functionality. The bag has a main exterior pocket for those keys or mobile phone(s) and a side zipped pocket perhaps to store change ;). I am loving this bag!!! There’s even a cute luggage tag (a la Prada hehehe). Priced before at US$398. Now at just US$278.60.

Carlos Falchi East West Leather Hobo. The brand’s well- known, the leather’s good. So what’s stopping you from getting the bag? Resale value hehehe… But seriously, if you’re not in it to resell your bags and buy bags for long term use, why not go with this beautiful Carlos Falchi bag. I love the color (which really is a big deciding factor). It reminds me of the Goyard fidji sans the monograms! Priced at US$416.50 (from US$595!)

Both bags are available at bloomingdales.com

These new bags make me want to re-assess all my bags (ok, all 15 of them hahahaha… see, I don’t hoard *makes face*). Like, time to downsize some more (and just keep a small number of bags)…

Confession: I have actually decided to let one bag go– by putting it up for sale in an auction (in early August)! The proceeds of that bag will be given to Fabella Hospital (which is also known as the “Baby Factory”– 20% of all babies in Metro Manila are apparently delivered here. According to Wikipedia, as of 2003, it has an average of 88 live births daily!!!). As soon as I get the mechanics of the auction ready, I will let you all know. I am hoping all of you can participate because the hospital is in dire need of our help. And with your participation in the auction (I’m setting a very low starting bid for it!!!), you are not only getting yourself a Premier designer bag (yes, a top- tiered designer bag brand!!), you are also helping those babies at Fabella! 🙂 Isn’t that a sweet deal? 🙂

  2. My sister was an intern at Fabella. I remember her stories. The place really needs all the help they can get.

  3. having spent TWO ENTIRE WEEKS of clinical rotation in OB/Gyne in Fabella, it’s safe to say that I have some pretty graphic memories of the place…sight, sound, smell and then some… this ‘deal’ you’re offering SHOULD make a big difference.
