More Como Chameleon :D

Ok that was a cheesy title, because Como is anything but cheesy. Without further ado, more photos of Como. I think this is one of the best places to go for a “REAL” vacation (real= no internet, no cellphone… though there is internet and there are cell sites… it’s just better to leave all those communication gadgets turned off) 😀

It’s a place I’d love to keep visiting. The weather was fantastic and there was also a nice and cool breeze. I honestly couldn’t imagine being anywhere else at this time.

Outside the Villa
A cute boutique selling candles They look good enough to eat 🙂

Went all the way up I love the little alleys at Bellagio.

A glass shop selling plates and glass accessories– rings, pendants, and necklaces.
Ate at this restaurant above.
Their “fruits of the sea” pasta (mussels, clams, squid) was to die for!!
Another villa. You can rent this villa and have your friends come along (make sure to invite me please haha).
Here’s another villa under renovation. Could this be George’s place? Hehe… I wonder where his villa is… No one seems to be in the know. Either that or they are protecting Mr. Clooney’s privacy 🙂

The view of our hotel from the lake. I can’t imagine owning a “house” like that on my own. Can you imagine how much maintenance would cost on a weekly basis??? *wolfwhistle… hehe sourgraping here hehehe*

Bellagio is truly an amazing place. If you plan to visit Italy (Milan and the surrounding cities), you NEED to pass by Lake Como. It’s not the best place to shop because there are only a handful of souvenir shops (and no designer shops), but if you love the laid-back lifestyle, this is definitely your kind of place. It was definitely mine. Being there was a good reason to hold off the daily stress and just relax. 🙂
