MFW: Salvatore Ferragamo, Classic Luxury AW 2012-13

When a company like Ferragamo presents a collection, never expect the brand to set a trend. Because Ferragamo’s goal is not about fashion. But without a doubt, this company with roots established back in Florence since the early 20s is doing something right because it is sticking to what it knows best: Luxury. Key pieces in this collection include beautiful, structured military jackets, coats, and the more feminine off-the-shoulder peasant tops and dresses.
First look:

Very nice tailoring!

Knitted jumper with details. You need to be really slim for this because this can be a bit bulky. Pretty on the model 🙂

The clutch. It is an essential piece in a modern woman’s wardrobe. I like the masculine undertone of this bag. It is not trendy for sure, but this piece will certainly stand the test of time.

This dress might be a bit hard to wear but the colors are pretty

The clutch– having stuck to a simple design with clean, uncomplicated details makes this bag a clear winner in the design stakes

Beautiful coat!

I love the exquisitely tailored jacket cinched with a blue belt

Model Alana Zimmer (we were on the same train to Paris together 😀 )

A little shimmer

So feminine!

Beautiful total look!

So rich!

Ferragamo has been remarkable. They have the perfect equation for executing a classic, elegant, and very sophisticated collection. That is authentic luxury.
