WOW!
From the first look at Roberto Cavalli’s Spring/ Summer 2012 collection, I was already impressed. There’s nothing quite like making an entrance in gold and in technicolor!
I am so bowled over by the stark contrast of this SS 2012 collection against his Fall 2011 collection. And I love it!! If last season’s collection reminded me of fallen angels, this collection makes me think of soaring angels. The execution and construction of design is really impeccable. Cavalli’s reputation for that is strong and solid. The SS 2012 collection showcased just that.
Technicolor printed pants are perfect counterpoint to a simple and sleeker- designed tuxedo jacket and lacy bandeau. This is so effortless and the effect is mind- blowing!
This jacket is an incredibly strong piece.
The marriage of colors on the print on this jacket is spectacular! I was really blown away…
I am so in love with the dresses. Le total look is so goddess- like! From the diadem to the dress, the cuffs, and the shoes, everything about this is perfect!

This is the animalier goddess. I would love to own this dress. It is very Roberto Cavalli with the leopard print. Another look that earns high marks from me.

There’s something so dark, so sensual and yet so ethereal about this gown.
The Roberto Cavalli Spring/ Summer 2012 collection is a winner. I am keeping an eye out for the “winged” dresses above. Two thumbs up on those! As a whole, I really cannot wait to see these pieces in Roberto Cavalli boutiques and online at LUISAVIAROMA
