Gucci formally inaugurated Milan Fashion Week with the showing of the label’s AW/FW 2012-13 collection.
As the invitation had hinted, velvet was to figure in the collection and there was no shortage of it. The collection spelled dark romance. Lots of dark colors and the occasional pop of bordeaux, sapphire, and emerald green. This season’s collection may be a far cry from last season’s more blinged-up one, but I have to admit, most of the pieces were undeniably sexy!

Feathers! I am loving this dress in its entirety but you will really need to have a very lean body for this or it could all go wrong 🙂 It’s a beautiful piece!
