Sex and the City 2 (take 2 hehe) was shown at My Cinema at Greenbelt a few days ago, and was hosted by CATS Motors + THE luxury car company, Mercedes Benz Philippines headed by Felix Ang, with his beautiful and stylish wife Grace by his side :).
Felix is one of the coolest guys in town. Gawd, I just realized that I’ve actually known him for over 10 years already through my cousin who’s a good friend of his– even farther back than when my brother and I were still without our respective partners (yikes, I just realized this makes us all so old now hahaha). It’s always such a treat to see both Grace and Felix at events because they’re so cool and are always so pleasant to talk to, but since SATC 2 is a chick flick, Felix had to be absent for the showing *it was a no boys allowed thing hahaha*. At the end of the show though, ever the gentleman, Felix came and stood by Grace’s side as they thanked everyone for coming 🙂
Now, the movie’s private screening was really wonderful because it was not just a gathering of women who are kindred spirits, but also a gathering of the best bags in the country 🙂 *hehehehe*. Oh and did I mention the bling? I was really enjoying every single second of the night because of all the eye candy! Jul B. Dizon Jewellery provided the jewels for 4 of us girls to wear– (GraceA, SalomeU, LizA, and yours truly wore the most beautiful pieces from Jul B. Dizon. Thank you Candy!!)

Anyway, allow me to brag (*cough* sorry if I do brag, but it’s a rare occasion for me to win something, so please allow me to indulge in my 5 second moment hahaha) I was honored and humbled to be one of the women “awarded” that night– I was the “Miranda” of the night — I can relate to Miranda because Miranda’s known to be the most “plain” dresser + least pretty of the 4 girls *hello, it’s sooo me!!!* And oh, coz she’s a lawyer *and my dad always said I should’ve been a lawyer instead of a journalist because I used to enjoy rebutting and arguing with him hahaha*. From Mercedes Benz, Philippines and CATS Motors, I took home a lovely Mercedes Benz teddy bear, a Mercedes Benz tote bag (which I now use as my yoga bag, woohoo!!), a box of Royce chocolates *oh my, how sinful haha*, and yaaay, the official soundtrack of Sex and the City 2 🙂 *wooohoooo!! This was actually on my birthday gift wishlist!!!! :D*
To accept that award, I wore a dress that I called “Gibo” green :D. I decided against carrying a Hermes bag that night.
Instead, I chose Chanel 🙂 I carried a vintage Chanel purse + wore my sky- high Chanel suspended C platformed heels. And oye, I had my toenails painted green too for the night too hahaha. *Thank you, Cindy Pineda of Shu Uemura Rockwell for my last- minute makeup, which I totally loved :D*
Ok sorry about the mini deviation from the jewelry talk. Going back to bling talk, guests who came to the event also have rocks like these, which, well… rocked! 🙂
(No names of the owners of these rocks here– hahaha I don’t remember who owned what, to be honest!)

In another theatre by the way, was Preview Magazine- Style Bible’s screening of SATC2 as well, and here were some of the chicest people who I saw and couldn’t resist saying hello to 🙂

So, as you can imagine, I had my fill of fashionable women + men last June 2. It was quite a memorable event and a truly unforgettable night! Ahhh, the mountains I climbed *snicker* that night and the sights I saw 🙂 🙂 *dreamy look*
