LuisaviaRoma + Brag-a-Bag Collection


I was checking out luisaviaroma.com (LVR) and pulled out this saffronish colored Mulberry bag. I am divided. I am liking it, but don’t think I can shell out EU750.00 for this bag just yet. I am still lusting for that Lanvin Kansas bag, which by the way, is also available in suede at LVR for EU1063.00 (though I still prefer the leather one!! Me and Preview’s best dressed hot mama DaphP both want the bag! Girl, go pop and we go Paris thereafter to celebrate hehehe *woohoo*).

Ugh, more importantly, it’s already Day 4 of “lust-for-the-yellow-Bottega-hobo”. I am testing my EQ here by NOT getting that yellow intrecciato hobo with brown piping, which really, let’s face it, has my name on it (that damn bag is calling out to me, loud!!). If only you hags could bet on me– what are the odds that Mrs. T ends up getting that Bottega hobo? *muwahaha*

Anyway, let me pull myself away from that nagging “have-to-buy-it” feeling. *Mrs. T needs to hold back the bucks (she doesn’t have) big time* Tsk I can’t seem to shell out moolah for that bag (ok here’s the real deal: I made a bet with DH that I won’t buy ANY bag for a month, and I can’t let him win *plus I am honestly still reeling from card abuse– hello card swipaholic anonymous* Hehehe as a prize, I should just tell him to buy me that bag or the oooh Lanvin Kansas *guffaw!* I’m a smart cookie eh? Psst I hope he ain’t reading this post hehehe)

It’s a bag soiree with Pixiedust’s Guccis, Pradas, Fendis, LVs, Dior, and Coach bags 🙂Caption of the photo wrote: “Each living in their own special box, clothed and pampered after every use, these bags were in a state of shock to have realized that the goddess who took care of them had other bags she loved. This bag soiree revealed the truth.”

Woops look at the time, I need to sleep already! I’m meeting some pretty cool baghags tomorrow and I don’t really want to literally look like a “hag” (an old hag) 😀

  4. hi again mrs. t. it’s ap, anonymous from paris. i’m leaving paris for london but before i do, here’s my report: at the GF, the lanvin kansas bag large is still there and now they have the two toned mini (like the one in the pic) but not the suede one for 720 Euros less 40% off, and 12% tax refunded.

    at the Lanvin store on FS-H, the large Kansas two tone bag with strap is outside the window for 1200 Euros but not on sale. i think your best bet is the grands magasins – Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and Le Bon Marche.

    i said i wasn’t going to buy anymore but i couldn’t resist the mulberry roxy large for 400 Euros. 🙁

    i hope you get your Kansas bag soon!

  14. Hiello to u all. I was looking to all of the collections of “brag-a-bag” and I reached a conclusion: All most everyone here already has (at least one) LV with damier canvas. Maybe one is bigger, other smaller, flat or not but the point is that they already have them. And, correct me if u think I’m wrong Mrs. T (after all it’s your opinion that counts!) but I don’t see the point in giving one LV Damier canvas bag to someone whom already has one very similar. Aren’t you looking to had a new a precious item to a “bagger” (i just invented this term) colection? (Because, and I’m shure u understand this better then most, is not just the bag itself but the sentimental and not monetary value that you put when you think “This is my bag, and at the end of the day, there maybe a thousand bags just like this to others, but not to me because THIS IS MY BAG”). And would’t that item be better appreciated by someone who didn’t already have one (I know I’m stepping over the same idea but it’s a important point)? So, in conclusion (and I’m sorry if I was too long and boring) I think that the only ppl that would deserve the item that you are giving away are Pixiedust’s (who managed to joined a wonderfull and diversed collection filled with brand names and beautiful models – not just the classic, and might I had boring, logo-a-gogo GG, interlocked CC’s or LV bags [because, although they are nice, the logo musn’t be all) or Ines’ (that managed to present in a creative and appeling way to show here her bags, and that, like “Pixiedust’s” showed some impressive designer bags without, although, stepping over the same repetitive items (like that orange D&G bag that maded a interesting piece of last years italian Vogue or that limited Galliano ellectric yellow clutch that was one of the “not so divulged” it-bags for high-society during 2004 (i think) fall-winter collection). Well I rest my case… good luck Mrs. T (I read your blog almost one a daily basis and I know (at least by what I read) that you’re a prespective bag expert).
