I love receiving gift guides. There’s still nothing like receiving that beautifully produced catalog with beautiful editorial- style product shots. Think Neiman Marcus’ Christmas Book.
And then came the Louis Vuitton Christmas catalog (which is limited, from what I know). I just can’t stop looking through the pages. Page after page after page of things any bag hag would want on their Christmas wishlist!! *And that includes ME!*

Now, let me chronologically enumerate the things on an LV- loving baghag’s wish list– it usually starts with a “small” product….

They are probably your best sunny-weather investment! So go with good quality sunnies– you don’t want to damage your eyes!

And then you can move on to these key holders and bag charms!
Key holders of the past were given new meaning today by Louis Vuitton. You don’t just put the keys in your key holder anymore. You actually make them into your bag charm! I wouldn’t mind getting that mini Alma key holder so I can hook it onto the zipper pull of my Alma GM 🙂 These key holders and bag charms are such hotsellers at Louis Vuitton because this is the best way to start owning something from Louis Vuitton, price-wise!
One of the better gifts to give your loved ones this Christmas? LV Agendas! There are themes for the agendas now, which makes them so much more interesting and worth collecting! I personally like writing on a notebook, so these would come in handy! Oh and those mini accessories pouch? Hehehe confession: I have a few of those. Because they are just SO cute!! I use them to carry my compact cameras 😀

After you have your LV diary- agendas/ pochettes, you can now move on to wallets. You want a very well- made wallet which won’t get dirty over time? Try the Damier canvas Zippy wallet. Or if you want the classic LV monogram but want a little color, go for the Zippy wallet in Monogram Multicolore canvas (top left). For those who have personal business cards and need a little case for them– go for the Monogram Vernis leather business card holder. Oh and of course, the wallet from the latest Empreinte collection, the Secrete compact wallet. There’s also something for the “discreet” label lover– the Epi leather or better yet, the alligator wallets and coin purses *luxe!!!*
After the wallet, the natural progression is to get a bag *HAH!*.
Why not get a bag from the classic monogram canvas collection? The Neverfull, Delightful, and the Wilshire. The Neverfull remains a favorite among baghags. Some even have them custom-painted with stripes and monograms (The Mon Mono)! These bags will without a doubt, transcend trend.
And then, the bag hag in you has blossomed! 🙂 Bag hags usually opt for a Speedy bag for the 1st bag, a neverfull for a second. I did too, but now *that I’m older* I would choose an Alma. Start with the Damier, then move on to the Vernis Alma *yay, happy I have mine!!* or if you want to venture into the exotics, an ostrich Alma! The Alma is really such an easy bag to use. The best thing about the Alma? It opens wide, and has 2 zipper pulls! That is really an excellent feature that I have come to appreciate a lot of late! 🙂

If you’re not a bag person *which I doubt any girl is*, you can go for the LV charm necklaces or bracelets. Personally, I am liking the bracelet. A lot! It’s so pretty! *I can’t wait to see this in person so I can try it on :D*

Bling and watches usually go together, or so I’ve heard. So here are the Louis Vuitton Tambour watches too!
Oh wait, what about shoes? *I was a shoe lover first before I became a bag hag!* I have come to value Louis Vuitton shoes because all the shoes I’ve gotten from the LV Greenbelt boutique have withstood the test of time– all still alive and well! And I attest that the shoes I have gotten are all VERY comfortable– yes even if they’re high!

But hmmm… as I’ve said, you can’t not be a bag lover *if you say you would rather buy bling or watches or shoes* (For me, bags, shoes, watches, bling usually go hand in hand hahaha).
Now, the gift for the frequent traveller? Forget buying cheap luggage. They break so easily and hah, so much for those 1 year warranty things– after the year ends, you have to spend more to repair the bag! Why don’t you start collecting your LV travel set: Keepall, toilet kit, Brooklyn Bags, and a cashmere scarf!

LV bags are really equipped to handle normal, everyday rough and tumble. Proven!
And if those bags don’t do it for you anymore, go with a nice custom- made Louis Vuitton trunk. If you have the extra cash lying around *hmm coz you won the lottery :D*, go get a Christmas trunk custom- made!! I guarantee it, I will be the first person to pay it a visit *even if you don’t invite me to do so hahaha*. THAT is the ultimate luxury!!
