Louis Vuitton for Valentine’s Day!

I couldn’t resist attending Louis Vuitton events in Manila. They’re always so well- planned, very organized, and the company is always fantastic. And of course, each time there’s an invitation for a private event, it’s guaranteed that you’ll be presented with something new from their most recent collection.
I’ve said before that I have “graduated” from the monogram canvas bag collection, but the smaller accessories in monogram canvas are a different matter– I have actually bought the mini pochette accessories in recent years and still loving using it as a camera case.  But oye, just because I graduated from one of their collection, doesn’t mean I graduated from the brand. I am still an LV lover because the brand just continues to surprise me with their new collections. I love brands that evolve. Vuitton is such a brand.
Anyway, without further ado, let me share with you the photos from last night’s well- attended event. 🙂

A very nice touch! Everyone couldn’t resist taking a photo with the “Bell Boy” 🙂
(It’s still a dream of mine to own some LV hardcases and trunks… I doubt I’ll ever travel with them though, they’d be so precious and I wouldn’t want them to go through the normal rough and tumble of baggage carousels and the like! *hehehe I’d pity the luggage too much*)

I love LV sunglasses! I have this thing for sunnies now– Daphne gave me a pair, and I got an LV for a spare 🙂

I’m actually liking that pink scarf as well *uh- oh!*

White Vernis Alma! It’s really sooo pretty!!!!  And those flats are so comfy!!

People were just trickling in the time I came in. The boutique got so full!!

The “bird” Almas! The classic Almas in exotic ostrich leather– so luxe!!!
The ostrich alma is perfect for the woman who already has a lot of LVs in her collection. If you’ve gone through the monogram canvas, damier canvas, vernis, epi leather, suhali phases, then you cannot not own an exotic piece from LV!

A calligraphist was brought in for the event- she wrote love poems on cards for our loved ones 🙂

I love how these private events at LV usually allow the clients to go home with a little something extra special 🙂 I took home a poem “dedicated” to my hubby 😀 Hand-written by a calligraphist (she’s fantastic) who was brought in for the event 🙂  Ahh the art of hand-written letters and cards– it’s already lost in this digital age! (This was a real treat!!)

And now for the other bags that caught my eye:

In purple!!!!!

The Ostrich Alma in PURPLE! *My friend and I gasped out loud when we saw this!!*

And then this!

The Empreinte Artsy in python. It’s gorgeous!!
I had highly recommended the Empreinte Artsy in the past and I still do– it’s really such an easy bag to use and I looove the leather. There was a gorgeous wine colored one available in- store (you should check it out), and it also now comes in this exquisite jet black python leather!
LV also makes excellent shoes. And although the brand is known more for bags and trunks, the shoes are quite fantastic as well– I usually deviate from the more classic pieces in the collection and go for the seasonal ones like this one below.  LV heels are very comfortable as well– proven.

And oye, boys if you haven’t decided what to give your special someone, I want to recommend these earrings 🙂 Hoop earrings always look good on girls 🙂 It’s a safe gift- and one she’ll really love!

I spent the evening in the company of good friends. So happy to see my girl friend Daphne again.  She always looks so lovely! 🙂
I love Daphne’s necklaces!
LV lovers Salome and Claudette

And then I spent a considerable amount of time chatting with Vanessa, Dara, Rhea and Adam of LV

Rhea and Adam
What a night! And again, it was really an honor to be treated to a gastronomic as well as a visual feast!  *Hint to the hubby in 3…2…1… * Guys, if you are still clueless as to what to get your partners for Valentine’s Day, pay a visit to the LV boutique on the 3rd floor of Greenbelt 5–guaranteed you’ll find something that she will love.
