LOUIS VUITTON Fall 2006 + Brag a bag collection entry

Gonna make this a quickie post since I have to seriously head out already (but I simply can’t resist the urge to stop and blog you know *wink*– I’m a slave to this blog, and lovin it *snicker*)

Got a nice email from BT whom I haven’t heard from in so long and she decided to send me a little post- birthday present, which is wayy to cute not to post, so here it is 😀Thanks so much girl! That really made me smile! 😀 Now, you can pack all those bags in a big box and fedex it over to me *hehehhehee kidding :D*.

I’m also posting some LV fall ’06 bags that are a bit more up my alley. There are some pretty bugly ones too (which I shall post below as well), but these three are worth looking at (in my most self-righteous opinion *muwahaha as usual, tsk*).

Mirror Papillon in gold (a silver is better), which is by the way made of PVC (knowing that info sorta got me disappointed.) The bag looks rather cheap, actually. Nevertheless, I want this bag– it’s sooo disco *snicker*. But I’m sure it’s going to be a pain to maintain (can you imagine accidentally sitting on this bag? *horrors!*).

Mirror Alma in gold (again, I’d prefer a silver). The Alma is such a great bag to use. It’s structured, unlike the collapsible Speedy, hence allowing you to find the things you are looking for (the Speedy is a Pandoran bag abyss, and I know a lot of you have experienced this too. Hello, black hole! Where did that ringing phone go? *hehehe know the feeling?*) I actually would like this mirror alma to be the carryall– can you imagine bringing this to the airline cabin as handcarry? *snicker* Would it bleep on the metal detector? *guffaw, typical Mrs. T. Such a ditzy question to ask. DUH PVC! hehehe*

Exotic Mini Steamer (?). Ok so this bag I have no clue what to call, except that it does remind me of a fattened up Hermes birkin (ready for roasting) and a shorter, fatter, LV steamer 😀 It’s rather cute too! But I betcha it’s gonna be expensivooo, with that flap made of croc/ alligator skin. *Sigh*

Now the LV Must-NOT haves. (Hall of Shame hehehe– no offense to LV fans out here– I am a fan too, but THESE bags *shake head* make me wonder why they were even produced *tsk*)

What on earth is this monstrosity? *shock, stun, awe (not really)* It’s…. gaudy! 🙁 There are too many elements– leopard dots, classic monogram, gold snakeskin, tortoiseshell links?! Ok this is the worst LV bag I’ve seen to-date. A sad day for LV addicts. But then again, someone is bound to like this (hags? anyone liking this??), so who am I really to judge the bag? *thwap myself*

Hmm… a Multicolore hobo would make me scratch my head, but a FUR multicolore hobo? Unheard of. And yet, here it is! It’s the sorta thing you’d think of carrying when you head to Gstaad for skiing and a tete-a-tete with the jetsetting international socialites *teehee that bag will be a topic of conversation* 😀 (ok fine, forget Gstaad. Heck, carry this bag anywhere with snow *hehehe weevil*). Sorry hags, this bag is not doing it for me. It reminds me too much of fur that they sell as area rugs (and some kid decided to spray graffiti on it). I mean, the bag is cute, but it’s just not for me. Anyone contemplating on this bag? 🙂
